Started originally on the 1st of July trying OP... hollow hungry all the time.. dizzy bla bla bla.. tested my solution found it was bad even tho I lost 13 lbs... Not what I remembered the last time I did HcG. FF. I restarted with NEW solution.. All is good. first week weight went boom boom boom.. this week.. grrr. .5 losses a day.. but I have to remind my self that is what is normal.. hahaah..
on the 2.0 ap where it calculates the protien calories it is saying I need to have 806 protein calories.. I am finding it difficult to get that.
What I have a question on is this.. can you use cottage cheese daily? I see it on the list.. it is high protein etc... I have a mental block to do a Protein shake.. sorry but I need food not liquid.. For the fast breakfast protein add sometimes its easier for me to just take 3 tablespoons of cottage cheese to get my day started.. Is this a no no ? suggestions on increasing my proteins? I have been averaging about 650 protein calories and am stuffed..
will keep moving forward.. just want to get this #1 off to break the dreaded 300 mark. . maybe tomorrow...
Since cottage cheese is on the list, I would think you could use it daily if you don't have problems with it. I can't eat any dairy EVER or I have a huge gain, digestive problems, and get congested. I'd say if you're doing ok with it and not having gains it's probably fine. Anyone else have an opinion?

I'm jealous. I'd love to eat dairy daily, but I always get nasty gains and headaches. But I agree. If you tolerate it well and keep losing, why not?

This has been a great read!!!
I am injecting. Did my 2 days of high fat loading and am on my 2nd day of VLC. I have read Pounds and Inches, most of HCG Made Simple and most of HCG 2.0. The 2.0 seems to make the most since to me and I think that is the protocol I will use to get 20 pounds off. I had to make myself eat yesterday, just was not hungry at all. I was at our cabin by the lake when I started the protocol & when I packed up & got home (60 miles away) I realized I left my hcg in the fridge compartment. So guess what I had to do very early this morning? I am injected & at home now! I was soooo upset with myself!

I'm so excited about this new protocol!! I did two rounds of the original protocol two years ago. The first round, I was very successful. Somewhere in the middle of the second round, I had a very large emotional setback that took months to get through. I was also starting a very stressful senior year of nursing school (with a husband and four kids). Needless to say, the diet went out the window. Not only did I undo everything I had worked so hard for, but I gained another 25 pounds on top of my original weight! I've tried several things over the past two years and did manage to get down 15 lbs, but I've been stuck here for awhile. I'm unhappy. I'm fat. I'm full of self-loathing and it's ALL my vanity. I hate the way my clothes fit, the way I walk, the way I feel about myself. It's ridiculous because I've managed to pull off so many successes in my life that I hate being so focused on my appearance. But, there it is. I don't think it helps that I'm about to turn 40 and I just want to know what it's like to be comfortable in my own skin!

I've come to this point kicking and screaming. I've associated the hcg protocol to that terrible time in my life so I've not wanted to go back to it. I remember how hard it was to stay focused on the VLCD days and couldn't fathom doing it with a full-time 12-hour shift job and a houseful of kids. I've been poking around at the idea of blocking off two months (September and October) to get myself in gear. I've researched and researched. I used this board for so much two years ago and was thrilled when I found it again! Finding the 2.0 protocol was just what I needed to know that I CAN do this!

I've read the book (it was slow at work today) and ordered my hcg. My 40th birthday is the 31st of this month and that will be one of my loading days.

Cannot WAIT to get my weight back on track!!

Has anyone switched to 2.0 in the middle of a round? I'm on VLCD 15. Thanks.

One more question. I got the app - are the Food Charts the complete listing of what's allowed, or a sampling? I don't see turkey listed and I'm wondering about other vegetables like mushrooms or snow peas. Thanks!

Starting this week, what is the FB page?

The app is just s quick reference. You will want to get the book for more complete information. And yes, turkey, mushrooms, and snow peas are all allowed.

Hi Hiker, I'm on VLCD3. I've done POP and Siesta Beach using drops. This is my first time trying 2.0. I thought I'd give it a try. I'm on my Last 10, again!

I'm sorry you had a rough year. My 10 came back on from eating out too much and not watching carbs.
    Good luck!

    Hi,

This thread isn't very active anymore. There's an HCG 2.0 Facebook page that is. I'll be finishing P2 of 2.0 on Thursday - yay!
