Thanks! Look at your average losses instead of each day. Look at the big picture. Maybe that will help?

AFM: NOT down today, basically the same, but that is OK!

Hang in there! Those no loss days can be brutal. Sounds like you have a good attitude about it.

I was eating too much cabbage/celery mix, and I was not losing. Like 4 cups a day. It was too many carbs I guess.

So for the past 2 days I have been eating like below, and have lost over a lb a day. This is vlcd 11 and I am down 12 lbs. I was hanging at -9 lbs for a few days before I got rid of the cabbage.

    Breakfast:
1/2 cup milk in coffee, with 1T cacao, 1t maca powder, stevia

    Lunch:
Salad: 2 c spinach, 1 c chopped celery, 1/3 cucumber with lots of spices
Salad Dressing: Whole Foods Coconut peanut sauce, mixed 1:1 with ACV. 1/4 cup
Protein: 5 egg whites plus two yolks, 4 oz dark chicken, or 4 oz shrimp, etc.

Dinner: same as lunch but a different protein

I tried 2.0 for two wasted rounds, but now that I am finally losing I think I can stick with it better.

    Happy losses all!

    Hi Lynne,

Could you post the nutrition facts for the Whole Foods Peanut Coconut Sauce? I was unable to find it online. Just the basics is fine. Calories, Carbs, Sodium. It sounds delicious!

    Thank you!

Janeen At the beginning of this thread you mentioned being able to borrow this book off of amazon prime. I have prime but I have never done this. any idea where to find it to borrow? I start loading on Saturday and never knew of the 2.0 that you speak of but I'm intrigued. I have roughly 36 hours to learn as much as I can before I start loading on Saturday morning.

Thanks for any and all of your help.

You can borrow kindle books. Just use your kindle (or free kindle app on your phone) and find the book. It should give you the option of borrowing if you're logged in with your prime account. Hcg 2.0 411 Information

    Hi there,

Today is my 1st day of P3. I've lost a total of 17.2 lbs

I've read the book, but I do have a couple of questions. Do I jump up to my maintenance calories or do I add them back slowly? I've re-read the chapter on P3, but it's still not clear. How many of you are doing the 40/40/20 macros and did you find it easy to maintain?

    TIA!!

    Anita

Hi, I jumped up in calories but didn't track it heavily. I think the first few days I was at about 1200 calories rather than the 1500 I maintain at. I wasn't very hungry the first few days. I took it slow as far as what I added back in. I didn't track the 40/40/20 but just made sure to stick with protein and veggies with a little bit of fruit after the first few days.

    Thanks!!

I wasn't to hungry, but I did up my calories to 862 (MFP). Today I will try for 1000 calories.

I had weird big gains and then followed by big losses the first week but after that things really have stabilized well. So don't be surprised if your scale is mean to you a time or two. I haven't had to do any steak days yet. Fingers crossed on that.

    MCT Oil...

Hi Janeen.. do you have any tips about MCT Oil on 2.0? I am very overweight so my Protein cals come to 900.. do you know anyone else who had such a high allowance? My rules i've come up with to try 2.0 are: (can you check them and see of anything is amiss)?
    Protein Cals : 900
    Carbs : 30g
    No Fruit. No breadsticks/melba etc.
I have added in Hot Smoked Salmon today. I'm a bit nervous but I will see how I go tomorrow with my weight.
Any other advice you have, I'm all ears
    Happy Losses Everyone...

    Hi Bubbles!
Those rules look great! The only tricky thing about the carbs is those are total carbs, not net. So it's not very much. I mostly eat green things without seeds -- lettuce, spinach, napa cabbage, stuff like that.

Wherever you are starting, it's fine. In fact, the more weight you have to lose, the faster and easier it comes off. When I had 100 lbs to lose, I lost much more in a round than I do now, trying to get that last 10 (or 20!) off. The extra protein will help you stay full and feel better, too.

I really haven't used mct (or any) oil in P2. Dr Z allows it, but does caution that it could slow you down. You can try it and see.

    Good luck!
