I always did fine with a little unsweetened almond milk. Not many carbs or fat. Just keep track of the carbs. Never heard of fat free.

I love the chart that Carry posted!! It's exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!!

I'm on round 2 and I'm going to try 2.0 this time. OP worked (10lbs in 10 days), until I got the flu and had to stop. But I didn't gain it back in the 8 weeks since, so I'm happy.

I'm on day 7 and am down 4lbs. I am constantly tweeking my tracker (Cronometer, which I love) to see what I can have for the day. I've set it up like below but I'd love some input on what you guys think.

    BMR is 1315
    Protein: cals = 526 = 131 grams (1 gram has 4 cals)
    Carb: cals = 120 = 30 grams (1 gram has 4 cals)
Fat cals = 126 = 14 grams (1 gram has 9 cals) (is this too much?)

I based the Carb and Fat on the PFC ratio.

So my total calories for the day is about 770 as long as protein is 75% of it all, right? (don't laugh, I'm an accountant and numbers are my world :P)

I'm also confused on the following:
Do I not count the carbs that come in my proteins?
Cheese is ok? Tofu is ok? These were both big no-nos on OP so I just want to double check.

I really appreciate all the info you guys have here. Stayed up a good portion of last night reading the 100+pages on this blog. (Boy, i need a life!)

Is anyone still here? I just started the HCG diet and detox teas August 10th 2018, went to a place called Sea Mist medical to get the HCG shot kit, almost $500 for 2 to 3 weeks. However, though the scale says I'm losing weight, I can't see it physically and has anyone here? Had any physical pain? While on this protocol diet.?

Hey Cher! Welcome. Sometimes it takes a little time to see the results physically. Measuring waist, hips, etc does help to see the inches disappear. Where is your pain? I often get back, shoulder and neck pain in hcg but i take about 500 mg of magnesium and about 300 mg of potassium to help. A heating pad or epsom bath help also. Hope that helps! Let us know how you’re doing!

I take potassium citrate by Now, 99 mg. I went with Christy’s recommendation to get them through Vitacost. I often get my supplements through them. I think either lovelyladyhcg or Jesse mentioned they take two at bedtime to help and it helps with sleep. I take a magnesium and potassium with lunch and with dinner. Then i take an additional two potassium at bedtime and that has definitely helped getting relaxed and sleepy and ease back pain.

I also got this lavender heating pad through amazon that does wonders whether during the day or at night when my upper back, shoulders hurt. It smells and feels sooooo good.

Like Natalie, I take the Now potassium citrate as well. Potassium “citrate” is what you want. I could find other types of potassium in the drug/grocery stores but not citrate. Had to order from amazon.
