Thanks for the replies. If it works for you Kristy that's great
But if it's like you said grammy, it won't work for me
I had seen it advertised so much on Facebook I was curious

IT was hard for me to understand too. You had 3 colors of food and anything they called calorie dense was red. So basically anything higher fat including grass-fed beef was very limited. It put me on a 1200 calorie diet as well.

Interesting discussion. I filled our the Noom questionaire, but never pulled the trigger on the program. After some exploration, what put me off is the assumption that it is emotions or thinking patterns that keep you overweight. I don't believe that is true for most of us that have spent our whole lives fighting the weight battle. I believe its more likely to be some kind of imbalance that drives cravings and overeating--the body trying to heal itself of something. A physical compulsion to eat, not a psychological one. Think about ice-chewing. Its a compulsion, yes. But can be driven by an iron deficiency. We also know that sometimes sugar cravings can be attributed to candida. Indulging cravings is not automatically about lack of discipline, or stuffing emotions.

We've been indoctrinated over and over that the cause or our extra weight is some form of lack of mental control. I'm probably right up their with the most disciplined dieters on the planet, and calories in/calories out has never worked for me either. I've always had to go to some extreme to move the scale. And then it was heart-breakingly temporary. So glad to be off that rollercoaster!

They had a 14 day trial for $1 so that's the only reason I tried it. I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. Way overrated for sure. You're exactly right--it was all about targeting over eating plus it was low fat.

I am glad you did try it to see what it was about, as it's good to be able to post info about these diets for others.

Sure it may work for some, but for most of us it won't

HCG works, the hardest part is figuring out the stabilization and keeping with it.

Hi, jumping in here as i recently started a round this week.
I also tried noom for the 2 weeks. Not impressed, although my pastors wife and mom both did it and lost alot of weight. Almost 40 for wife, not sure for mom, she said 2 pants sizes.

I had developed adrenal fatique (too much coffee, stress so on) thought i was going to lose gall bladder. Gained 22 lbs in august/sept had finished an hcg round stabilized great and boom gained no matter how healthy i ate.
Didnt matter how i ate couldnt lose it. Swore id never do hcg again. All my female hormones disappeared. (Thats another story.)
My gall bladder issue flared up every time i did hcg. Turns out my body was not breaking down my food as it should be. Had a flange between upper and lower intestine not opening. Turns out i fixed that all by myself with the help of holistic nutritional therapyst. Also started taking an amazing probiotic/prebiotic, i love so much i became a distributor.
Anyhow, im back because hcg seems to be the only way i can lose weight now. Cant fit into any of my summer clothes. Went from size 8 to 14. Not happy and not buying new clothes!! Bought one pair of pants and one capri. Thats all im doing!!
    Happy losses all.
