Switched from orginal hcg to hcg 2.0 HELP

After two days at Orginal Hcg 500, I switched to Hcg 2.0 today. read here that it is not good for a person with long-term weight problems. What I want to answer now is can I return to original hcg tomorrow? Have I broken a lot? I have eaten some fat, which was recommended, and very little carbohydrates today. I have also used my usual skin ceare.

You should be able to resume tomorrow on the original protocol without any major issues.

The lack of fruit in the HCG 2.0 and 3.0 can definitely be a problem for those with metabolic issues, specifically compromised adrenal or thyroid.

Is there any reason for this? I just downloaded the book, will start reading - curious on the fruit, though. I only ever do one apple, and have switched that for veggies or extra protein in past rounds. I wouldn’t be averse to leaving the apple for a protein snack.

The HCG protocol menus were constructed after a lot of trial and error, and the items included were those found to give the best result. No one is going to be able to give you assurances that changing it will work work well for you, or won't harm your long-term progress.

The reason fruit is important for those with compromised adrenals is that they get further compromised by being starved of healthy carbs. You might get away with it for a while, but long term carb restriction can send both adrenals and thyroid south.

Thanks - as 2.0 is close to the tweaks I did before, at least with regards to what I eat, not how much, I think I will go for a 1.5 version. This first round (after all those years) will hopefully be easy, I only struggled in R3 last time.

You should be fine to continue on with what has worked before. Good luck with your round.
