I guess i am confused...you said before hcg, you were lucky to lose 3 lbs a month. Now, after hcg, you weigh less, so naturally you are going to lose even slower....so why is this the fault of hcg? the last 10 lbs, even when you are 22 are going to be difficult....with hcg or on your own. And as Lisa said, your body after a baby is forever changed....some get back to their exact prepregnancy weight, but many dont.

But saying you cant lose weight after hcg....when you stated you couldnt lose weight before hcg....is kinda unfair, ya know?

... and really? a round for 10 lbs?
    Male, 6'6'', 35, before 334.6 lbs. ~ after 224.3 lbs.

    I lost 110 pounds in 6 months.

One year, 110 pounds down and holding

Fat does not melt away- you burn it. You may lose inches and not pounds.
    Conclusion: hhcg works.

    Any questions?

May I ask your height, weight and what your bone structure is now? How long ago did you finish P2? Have you gained since P2?

Do you exercise? Have you seen a dietitian or doctor to see if you have underlying medical issues hindering weight loss. FYI losing weight doesn't just magically happen and the hCG diet is no miracle cure. It's hard work and those who stabilize go on to continually eat healthy and add in exercise. The purpose is for lifelong change. If you can't commit 100% that's not the diet's fault, that's yours.

    Xorraa,

During my initial round with HCG injections I was extremely hungry, but felt amazing physically. I lost approximately 20 pounds and despite eating so few calories I felt incredible. However, after the strict diet was over I began reintroducing the forbidden foods such as wheat, bread, etc back into my diet. In a matter of days the weight began creeping on and I felt terrible. Come to find out I am allergic to wheat/gluten and would have probably never found this out if it weren't for this diet. I would suggest trying a week or even two weeks avoiding gluten and then reevaluate how you feel. Gluten affects everyone differently and I suffer from inflammation and water retention due to this amongst other things. I would give it a shot.

The OP indicated they had a baby..then took HCG to rid herself of the weight? Something tells me it isnt the HCG that is the culprit..it is the pregnancy. Unfortunately, pregnancy changes our body and how it carries weight.....not the HCG..but our body itself has to adjust to carrying another for 9 months. That sometimes is permanent. Usually it shows in the hips.

I totally agree. Metabolisms change significantly after pregnancy!

To the OP: Just eat clean (lots of veggies, healthy fats, lean meats), keep processed foods to a minimum. I am not being condescending, but you are a young mom, and were under the impression that HCG was going to be magical. HCG didn't cause you to stop losing weight. Please don't bank on "calories in, calories out", you can eat 1000 cals a day in Twinkies, but you'll be dead in two months (from malnutrition). Veggies (not starches) give you the most bang for your buck, nutrient dense, and you can eat as much as you want!
I do realize, you look at your friends sucking down pizza and chili dogs and a phenomenal rate (that would be your single-no kids, friends) and think it's not fair, and it's not, but that's life.
Eventually you will lose weight again. You only have 10 lbs to go, even at 3 lbs a month, that's only 3 months.
Your body is still repairing from your pregnancy, it will take a year or more to get back to where you were before the baby. Enjoy your baby!
    Starting weight: 261.2
