I was about to say the same. LOL And then see how the maintenance goes. Losing is only half the battle. Keeping the loss off is the main thing.

The other thing I was going to say as I have been researching it further- coconut oil is only 60% MCT's (the portion that supposedly is metabolized differently- but of course we don't have proof it's doing this for us on hCG yet), but the other 40% of the fat grams/calories in coconut oil is just regular LCT's- the longer chain fat molecules that are just like all the other fats and oils which ARE definitely bad on hCG- so if a person started consuming too much coconut oil on P2- 40% of those fat grams are definitely not good while on hCG- unless I'm missing something which is possible- but that's what my research is turning up so far. Of course that then brings us to the question of whether using straight MCT oil is okay since it's only mct's and no lct's. Hmm.....so many questions, so l little testing done. In the end, better safe than sorry for me to still till I can get more proof.

Well jeez, once I asked on a forum if I could eat a peice of white turkey and I thought this one lady was gonna throw me in the dungeon! If it wasn't for everyone's opinions and expertise I'd be lost, decided against the turkey, really I live the hcg police they keep me on protocol and really know what works and what might not work, or yeah just take your own chances, grams is pretty cool

I hate that people are knocking coconut oil. I've been playing with HCG for about 2 months. Lost only 13 pounds because I've been cheatingggg like nobody's business.

1.) No such thing as immunity.
2.) There is a such thing as not enough protein. And EVERYONE's requirements are different.
3.) Coconut oil is absolutely amazing. I used the unrefined. 3T most days all at once gave me the best results.
4.) I gained muscle and strength- this means I lost a ton of inches and greatly improved my body composition.
    5.) I worked out 3-4 days a week.
6.) I drank 18-30 cups of water, daily.
7.) Restored my electrolytes every few days with a cup of water and juice from a full lemon+ salt mixed in.
8.) Never skimped on salt, if I wanted it, I had it.
9.) Ate macadamia nuts on days that I didn't work out and some when I did. Reason being: I tried to stick to 750-1,000 calories a day.
10.) When I wasn't cheated, I was losing a pound or better daily or 4lbs overnight from water retention from working out.
11.) Was never bloated. Not even on my period.
12.) Was not lazy on this diet.
13.) IMO: No one has any excuse to remain completely inactive unless your condition is so extreme that you cannot even walk for 10 minutes straight. If you can walk for 10 minutes straight, do that 3 times a day, at least...
14.) I used protein shakes with no adverse effects. (Bionic Edge in the vanilla flavor).
    15.) I consumed 80-120g protein daily.
16.) My energy levels NEVER fell.
17.) I had a preworkout before I went to the gym: 1 granny smith apple.
    18.) HCG is amazing stuff.
19.) I have no gallbladder if that matters to anyone.
20.) My energy levels are through the roof.
21.) I stabilize in P3 immediately, every time.
22.) I eat 1k-2k calories above my daily allotment...
23.) I've broken this diet down so well that I will help anyone see the same success that I have because I want to help anyone and everyone that needs it.
    24.) I've helped others.
25.) I have no idea why I'm numbering everything.
26.) If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Also, I'd like to know why people keep saying that oils are bad whilst on HCG... It makes no sense to me. The body wants to eat fats whilst on HCG.... Fat is GOOD for you. Just not a lot of it or you defeat the purpose of rapid weight loss.... I had 3-4T while on HCG of UNREFINED coconut oil 130cals a pop plus 700 cals worth of food and lost over a pound the next most days... And on the days that I didn't lose over a pound, I lost a pound...

You are listing all the stuff you did off protocol yet mention you only lost 13 pounds because of the cheats. LOL Staying on protocol produces the best results long term. I adore coconut oil too--but not on hcg. Your body is very sensitive to fats when on hcg. Just think how much you could have lost if you'd stayed on protocol.

Those things that I did that were off protocol only helped. The only things that didn't help me were drinking and eating tons and tons of carbs and fat at the same time(what I consider cheating). The original protocol states 500 calories. 100g of protein for two meals... fruits... veggies... etc etc. HOWEVER, for my lean mass, that is NOT enough protein.

Macadamia nuts have been proven to increase ketosis. Coconut oil is a thermogenic. And that's been proven to aid in weight loss. I lost 13 pounds in about a month... I called it two months because there was a stint of "P3" where I basically ate whatever I wanted and never gained. Just counted it as part of the round. I also gained muscle. visually. Quite literally. I lost over 13 pounds of fat and I cheated on weekends... I had amazing results, my version of cheat days included.

I had an excess 520 calories in coconut oil fat daily... With no adverse effects. Not everyone is sensitive to fat and if you think about it, it makes no sense why they would be. Fat is your bodies source of energy while you're on HCG... the only reason to stay away from any fat other than coconut oil (which doesn't want to stick to the body as body fat anyway) is because the excess just takes away from what your body will burn off your body... That's literally the only reason.

I'm not going to argue with you. You clearly don't understand the protocol and haven't really studied Pounds and Inches.

In Pounds and Inches, page 51, paragraph 3, Dr Simone's states; "Few patients will take one's word for it that the slightest deviation from the diet has under HCG disastrous results as far as the weight is concerned. This extreme sensitivity has the advantage that the smallest error is immediately detectable at the daily weighing but most patients have to make the experience before they will believe it." We all have to make choices, but why would anyone work this hard to accomplish a goal and then jeopardize it with cheats and deviations?

1.) No such thing as immunity: How do you know? I've never experienced it, but I've never done an extremely long round, either.

2.) There is a such thing as not enough protein. And EVERYONE's requirements are different: That's one of the reasons for the short rounds - there isn't enough protein for long-term dieting. And of course we all have different nutritional needs based on genetics, size, activity level, etc.

4.) I gained muscle and strength- this means I lost a ton of inches and greatly improved my body composition: Isn't that one of the best things about this plan? We get to lose fat instead of muscle and we end the round with better body composition than when we started. I love it.

5.) I worked out 3-4 days a week: Activity is encouraged, so good for you.

6.) I drank 18-30 cups of water, daily: Hyponatremia is dangerous so I'm glad you didn't experience an issues with that.

7.) Restored my electrolytes every few days with a cup of water and juice from a full lemon+ salt mixed in: Glad you took advantage of the allowed juice of a lemon. How come you didn't want to restore your electrolytes daily instead of only every few days?

8.) Never skimped on salt, if I wanted it, I had it: There's no limit on salt on the diet and I always recommend people eat plenty of sea salt on the diet, especially if they are consuming a lot of water. I have low sodium so I drink salt water daily.

10.) When I wasn't cheated, I was losing a pound or better daily or 4lbs overnight from water retention from working out: I'm more interested in losing fat, but if losing fluid makes you happy, great.

11.) Was never bloated. Not even on my period: Why would you expect to be bloated?

12.) Was not lazy on this diet: Glad to hear it since activity is encouraged.

13.) IMO: No one has any excuse to remain completely inactive unless your condition is so extreme that you cannot even walk for 10 minutes straight. If you can walk for 10 minutes straight, do that 3 times a day, at least...: In my first round, my condition was so extreme I could barely stand up so walking for 10 minutes was just a dream. In further rounds, I did get in more activity. Walking is great exercise, and P&I encourages tennis, swimming, running, horseback riding, golf, etc, too.

14.) I used protein shakes with no adverse effects. (Bionic Edge in the vanilla flavor): Lots of people use protein shakes and do very well on them. I know a lot of people prefer Raw Warrior or Jay Robb, but I've never heard of Bionic Edge brand.

16.) My energy levels NEVER fell: I'm happy to hear you had the typical hcg experience of increased energy. That is the feeling that makes some people want to stay on P2 longer than they should.

17.) I had a preworkout before I went to the gym: 1 granny smith apple: I, too, usually ate my fruit at a different time of day than the rest of my food. Thankfully, P&I allows that.

18.) HCG is amazing stuff: Yes, it is.

20.) My energy levels are through the roof: Again, typical on this diet. Glad to hear you experienced that.

21.) I stabilize in P3 immediately, every time: I, too, have an easy time stabilizing. I really feel for those who struggle so terribly with it.

22.) I eat 1k-2k calories above my daily allotment: In P2? Or in P3/P4? There is no allotment in P3 or P4.

23.) I've broken this diet down so well that I will help anyone see the same success that I have because I want to help anyone and everyone that needs it: That's very generous of you.

24.) I've helped others: Again, very generous.

    jmmrr,

1.) I was on HCG for three whole months and never experienced immunity.
2.) I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. There isn't enough protein for long-term P2 dieting? I'm on P2 simply because atm I can't support my pound a day meat requirements...
3.) That is the best thing about this diet. But without exercise and enough protein, everyone loses a bit of muscle on this diet.
6.) The body can safely process 4 cups an hour. Most bodybuilders drink 2-3 gallons a day. (that's 32-48 cups)
7.) I only did it every few days because I got tired of the lemon taste and I didn't need much more than I did.
8.) A lot of people are afraid to use salt to season their food, because they fear water retention.
10.) I'm not sure you understood what I said.
11.) Perhaps because many people complain of bloat on their period.
16.) Sure they're typical, but is lifting heavy weights 3-4 days a week also typical?
22.) Actually, there is a caloric limit. Based on BMR and activity level. For my BMR and activity level, I eat 1-2k excess and don't gain.......
    23 +24) Thanks.
