    Do you have any sinus/allergy issues? I do and often my ears get blocked because of it. If you do have some of these problems, ask your Dr. for something to help. Mucinex helps me a lot.

    I did 56 days and was dizzy at the end also. Now having read the symptoms of starvation, and having had been on the 500 cal diet for over a month, I wouldn't rule out that maybe I was actually starving.

    I would guess there is something you are eating that you are not thinking about that is causing all the gains.

    I was gaining 2-3 pounds a day my first p3 I went back and did another P2 and I have been stabilizing alot better..Still not perfect like some, but better..No0t sure how P4 will go for me..most people I know are doing fine on it, but I am not sure how carbs will react for me.


    Started at 179 (5'3") June 5th 2010. Lost 40 pounds eating no sugar, flour, wheat, rice, or dairy, and eating 2 times a day breakfast and lunch. Stalled at 138 for 4 months then decided to do HCG.

    I think it's worth a shot - I'm just having problems trying to find what to stick to consistently - if I'm in P3, (or if my body is reacting in a P3 manner) high fat / high protein and low carb might be too much to follow every day? I was going to stick to P2 eating but I'm worried about cutting fat - maybe modify it to where I have just one "fat" serving a day? Since I want to work out, I'm worried about starving myself all over again.
    I ate high fat, high protein and low carb today. I'll see what the scale says in the morning and probably have a steak day tomorrow to see if it makes any difference - at this point it feels like I'm being steadily inflated beyond control.

    yeah. it is very scary..I feel for you..I was panicking when I could not stop my gains. I don't think high fat high protein low carbs is hard to follow for 3 weeks..You can do it!

    I'd be heading straight to the doctor! What you are assuming is a diet and weight problem may not be.

    You can eat this way for the rest of your life. Fat is your friend, seriously, don't eat less of it, eat less carbs and starches, you don't need them.

    I had 3 eggs in butter with 3 pieces of turkey bacon this morning, I'm sitting here eating chicken salad with a thigh, a boiled egg and mayo, and tonight will be pork chops with collard greens. I'll lose weight tomorrow.

    As you can see by my signature below this is not my first round. I have lost consistently with this method of weight loss. I have done 2 very successful rounds and I stablized each time. The last time I stablized my wieght stuck at 188 and on the other rounds that were not successful I always returned to that number. It may have been a set point at some other time in my life. I am now working on getting off a 8 pound gain plus some more but the gain was mainly from loading and some stress in my life. Anyway when I was in P4 I could eat just about whatever I wanted within reason, that is the same with any diet. If I wanted a cookie I ate it but not the whole bag. HCG has been a blessing for me. I went to see a plastic surgeon about my arms (this would have happened with any diet, I am 51 years old and I have fought with my weight since I was in 5th grade) he was very encouraging especially when he told me my face looked great even though I had lost quite a bit of weight. (I lost 17 usning Nutrasystem but took me from January until April of last year before HCG) I lost twice that amount with HCG. I am stable, I eat (when not in P2) and I don't worry too much. The secret is to follow the program and when you stop before the required time don't just go wild ease back into eating that is what I did. As another poster said you may want to go check with your doctor, something else may be going on. (As usual, just my two cents.)

    Look at this thread. This woman has done 8 days of VLCD and lost 10 lbs, without Hcg and without loading.

    Question!
