It sounds good in theory. LOL But I've seen way too many problems over the years. If you read Pounds and Inches, you'll see choosing easy to get veggies had nothing to do with his choices. He tested everything. This is a hormonal protocol, not a diet. That's what very few people really grasp.

From Pounds and Inches: The most tiresome patients are those who start counting calories and then come up with all manner of ingeniousvariations which they compile from their little books. When one has spent years of weary research trying to makea diet as attractive as possible without jeopardizing the loss of weight, culinary geniuses who are out to improvetheir unhappy lot are hard to take.

He also claimed anyone that didn't lose weight was a liar or a fool because he believed his plan was flawless and had a god complex IMO like many Drs do. Every doctor will say you must not alter this plan it will ruin it. I wouldn't expect anything less. He also stated in P&I that using oil on our skin or touching fat would stop weightloss which has been proven time and time again to be false by thousands of people etc. Obviously if anyone wants to blindly follow a 50 year old plan they can but I prefer to use a bit of my own thinking and current science too. I've seen far too many success stories on this and other boards with various plans to dismiss them as anomalies or flukes and say well they must not have really needed to use HCG.

But it's like Atkins or any other plan there are some that believe in the hardcore way only and some that know it can be altered to fit your lifestyle and still work and you will never convince the first group to believe the second group no matter how much success there is so it's kind of futile to try LOL

to be fair, the HCG diet is not the only successful VLCD.

see this ("Warning: This article tells you a starvation diet could actually be good for you - and make you live longer"):
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...ve-longer.html

i believe the ritual of daily HCG injections and other weird customs make one more committed and more likely to adhere to the diet despite the hardship of starving. and then there is that slight edge of hormonal influence of HCG on the top.

keep in mind that every religion i'm aware of (i'm not a theologian though) advocates various versions of fasting. people knew long time ago it was good for us, but we collectively forgot it and need to rediscover it again.

edit: chart on fasting here: http://www.beliefnet.com/Faiths/2001...ing-Chart.aspx

This is actually undeniable. I've done VLCDs before I'd get ravenous hunger and shakes, doesn't happen with HCG.

Here's the bottom line...believe what you want but the definition of scientific proof is consistent and repeatable results from independent strands of evidence that's exactly what this forum is full of. If it was anything other than effective it would be IMPOSSIBLE for this many people from this many backgrounds and this many physical diffrences to experience the SAME results time and time again.

...of course if you don't believe it why are you here?

You obviously don't understand how homeopathy works because of your statements. You don't need a trace or a molecule of the substance to be effective in homeopathy. You need the energy signature and the weaker the more effective. I won't get into a bit long lesson on that one, but your body breaks down any substance in this instance hcg. So your body utilizes the frequency. Homeopathics start with the frequency. I've done injections and drops. There is no difference in how they worked or how I felt, it was a personal decision on which mode fit my preferences and my schedule. The FDA has been wanting to shut down natural things for years because there isn't any money in it. Homeopathics have no side effects, have never harmed anyone. Our bodies are smart enough to use the correct amounts. That can't be said for many rx. Have you seen late night commercials?

I believe to everyone it's their choice. You should not use "fake" drops that are activator, proprietary, etc. but beyond that real hhcg is great.

It looks to me like you are trying to state your opinion and get others on board. If you want to do injections go for it! Leave hhcg for the rest of us who love it and use it all the time. I have used homeopathics for over 15 years and have seen results that "cure" not just bandaid a symptom as rx drugs like to.

You or any study will never convince me of how effective because I've seen it myself repeatedly. And no it's not just a placebo it's very effective.
Hi everyone. I'm new here but not new to hcg. Please feel free to send me a message and say hi. I love to talk to people and share success stories! I'm hear to learn and encourage people! I've lost 30 pounds and I'm currently using Homeopathic Hcg. This has changed my life.
