Cool P2 friendly Italian Dressing-Beats Walden Farms!!!

I just created my own P1 friendly Italian dressing. Tastes just like Kraft and beats the taste of the Walden Farms Italian Dressing.

    4oz Apple Cider Vinegar
    6oz Liquid Coconut Oil
    1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
    1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
    1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
    2 packets Stevia

Mix, shake and enjoy...Makes me want to eat more salad...

On these boards, P1 is considered the loading phase, and if so, this would would be an appropriate recipe.

However, eating salads during the loading phase is not a good loading strategy, and you want to eat calorie dense foods during those 2 days. This would work as a marinade for a well-marbled steak in that context, though.

If this was meant as a P2 (very low calorie diet phase) recipe, it does not qualify because of the coconut oil.

Actually, yes, I meant P2 and Coconut oil is on protocol for P2 as it is a MCT.

I've changed your thread title to say P2.

For clarification to those reading: Coconut and MCT oil may be allowed in some of the variations of the HCG diet that have been developed, but it is not allowed in the original protocol. It can cause stalls and even gains, and may affect your ability to stabilize. We don't really know all the effects and disaffects because there has been no continued research following the research done on the orginal protocol which forbid any added fats beyond what is in the protein portions of the menu.

Anyone is free, of course, to try the different variations and see if they get a good or better result. There are anecdotal reports that go both ways.
