Wow your new recipes sound wonderful too.

I tried your chili today for lunch with ground chicken instead of the beef and it was wonderful too. I so definitely have to thank you ever so much again as my dh is doing this with me and I think this is his new favorite meal!!

    You're welcome again! : )
If your hubster likes beef he might like this meal. Also, because the meat is pounded out, it makes it look like a large portion!!

    braciole.jpg

BRACIOLE (beef rolls with radish ‘mashed potatoes’)

    100 grams lean beef
    1/2 cup broth or water
    Radish ‘mashed potatoes’ --
Boil radishes until very soft, mash well then drain off liquid.
    Add -
    Chopped garlic
    Dried onion
    Oregano, basil, parsley
    Salt and pepper
    Tbl milk

Pound steak until thin. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread radish mixture over steak and roll up. Fill the bottom of the pan with stock or water.
Add braciole. Sprinkle top with dried onion. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Then broil til top is browned.

Making food for the next week. This is a favorite tho the portions look small (the pic is 4 portions). But it has lots of flavor.
I would serve it alongside a big pile of chopped romaine and chopped apple with Italian dressing.

    hot italian sausage.jpg

    HOT ITALIAN SAUSAGE
    100g ground veal/turkey/chicken
    Salt, pepper
    Garlic powder
    Paprika
    Parsley
    Sage
    Anise seeds, fennel seeds
    Hot pepper flakes

    Another tasty sausage --

    SWEET SAGE SAUSAGE

    Sage, salt, pepper, ginger

    Lunch today is shrimp stew.

    shrimp stew.jpg

SHRIMP STEW (can also use fish)
    100g shrimp
    Water or broth
    Chopped garlic
    Lemon juice
Juice from half an orange, the rest of the orange chopped into pieces
garlic powder, dried onion, hot pepper flakes, sea salt
    Chopped cabbage

In sauce pan add broth or water, chopped cabbage, lemon juice,
orange juice, chopped orange sections, and seasonings.
In skillet brown shrimp and chopped garlic. When cabbage is soft
add shrimp and garlic to saucepan.

One serving ended up being 2 big bowls, so a very filling recipe.

Thanks for this thread! Your recipes sound delicious. I'm going to try my own version of egg drop soup right now, and for dinner I'm thinking chili salad. Mmmmm

    You all are welcome!!

Tonight's dinner was hot Italian sausage, caramalized onion, melba toast, and an apple with cinnamon and stevia.
    Very flavorful and satisfying.

Hamburger Salad. You can use any P2 dressing you like. Since I like ketchup on my burgers, I made a ketchup dressing.

    hamburger salad.jpg

    HAMBURGER SALAD
    100g lean burger patty
    Lettuce
    Chopped onion
    Sliced tomato

    KETCHUP DRESSING
    Low sugar ketchup
    Water
    Herbs of your choice
    Onion/garlic powder
