    Best P2 Recipes

Hey everyone! I am on day 10 of P2 (round 1) and have currently lost 19lbs. I am really loving everything about this diet and love finding great recipe's on this site and elsewhere on the web. I was wondering what some of your best recipes are that you have found while on this lifestyle change. I am curious to find new, inventive ways to prepare meats and fish that are "ok" on the HCG Diet. I am also having a hard time finding recipe's for "sweets" so those would be much appreciated to. Please share!

    Howdy.
I am also getting pretty into the new p2 recipes.
I had one today ( but not meat)

    Ok, so dikon (sp?) radish.
Cut into fries like pieces. Put garlic powder, onion powder, salt pepper,
And put in the oven and bake till ready.
    Pretty darn good.

I have a big sweet tooth too....what I have been doing is cutting up my apple, sprinkling with Stevia and Apple Pie Spice, and nuking it til it's soft. It's really good and curbs that sweet monster. Also whizzing frozen strawberries, sweetener and your milk allowance make a really slushy treat too.

Hi ladies, someone posted this and thought you ladies may like to try it. You can use one of the other allotted fruits if you want.

    Orange Sorbet

For those of you with a Vita-mix or a Blendtec I just found a very satisfying way to enjoy your fruit!

I have been loving the microwaved apple with cinnamon and pumpkin spice but I've really been wanting a "treat". Today I made orange sorbet in the Vitamix and it was so good and a big portion too!

    2 oranges
1/2 tsp stevia powder (I only have powder you could use liquid)
    4 cups ice

Split the portion in half and only eat half or half the recipe if you don't want to share or don't want to save the other half for later.

Make sure you use your tamper because it freezes fast. Gotta shove that ice down there. I froze mine for a few minutes to make it harder. Make sure not to overmix or it will not stay thick.

Was sooo yummy. I think next time I might add a little bit more stevia. If I had flavored stevia's I would experiment with those. Was also thinking lemon sorbet would be good and strawberry too of course.

    My fave: cabbage rolls
Take 4 or 5 whole leaves of cabbage and 1 cup or so of shredded cabbage. (i gauge how much based on how many calories I have left for the day). Steam this in chicken broth with some braggs and a sprinkle of old bay. Then get some cilantro, green onion and ground chicken into your food processor. Add salt, pepper, chili flakes if you like, garlic powder and braggs. By now canbbage should be slightly soft. Set the whole leaves aside. Add shredded to chicken mixture and pulse. Roll the mixture into leaves and steam again till done. Don't worry if they aren perfectly closed on the end, the chicken holds it together. I serve sliced like sushi, or dip whole like an egg roll. Makes SO much food! I also make a phillipino style lumpia sauce to dip: apple vinegar, braggs and pepper with a smashed garlic clove floating in it. This sauce is bomb. Just add braggs to the vinegar til it "cancels" out. You should taste both flavors as one, not just braggs or just vinegar, if that makes sense!!

That sounds delish! Couple of questions if you don't mind. When you say "Steam this in chicken broth with some braggs", do you mean braggs apple cider vinegar or braggs amino acids? And by steam, are you basically saying put it in a pan with a small amount of liquid and let it steam that way, or steaming the traditional way where the leaves don't touch the liquid?

Aminos-sorry I didn't clarify! And steam with a small amount of liquid, absorbs some flavors

AND I have to say thanks to all the chili mavens out there...I sautee'd a little green onion in some bragg's aminos, added the pre-boiled and pressed lean ground beef, a can of organic tomato paste, two whole tomatoes, chopped, and onion flakes, garlic powder, and spicy chili powder......cooked for 20minutes and then puree'd it with my hand blender. Added fresh cilantro and a bit of ground coriander to finish it off and I swear it was the best chili I've ever had!!!
