This recipe saved the day for me!
1lbs of ground sirloin beef
The seasoning mix:
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper - BEWARE use a lot less as this is a spicy recipe
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes - BEWARE use a lot less as this is a spicy recipe
1 tsp Salt - I prefer less salt as 1 teaspoon for one lbs of meat was too much
2 tsp Cumin, ground
Brown the meat in a deeper stove top pan. Add 1/4c to 2/3c water then add all the seasoning until blended. I brought it up to a boil then simmered it for 5 minutes.
I sliced up yellow and orange bell peppers to use as my vegetable. Then added all natural salsa with 1/5 of the seasoned ground meat mixture. Then I used shredded kale/cabbage to add more veggies. About 1/4 cup of the greens.
Yum! I make taco salad topper often and I love adding a little chipotle in there too. Super good! Thanks for sharing!
What version of P2 are you in? Have you gained or stalled with peppers. I'm too scared to try that...
