I love this site! It is much needed. I've struggled with trying to find a bank of good P2 recipes, and Pinterest confuses the hell out of me. Thanks for sharing, Leez.

I think it will be great to have a dedicated HCG recipe site. I'd like to see some designation on the P2 recipes, though, such as OP (original protocol) for those that are strictly using only protocol menu items. Because of all the HCG variations, a lot of stuff that is considered P2 now by some really isn't.
I'm right with you on Pinterest. I hate having to click through multiple pages to get to the actual recipe---if you can even find it at all. And they use those stupid page blockers that try to force you to sign up. Sorry, I don't respond to strong-arm tactics like that. Keep your Pinterest, thank you very much.![]()

I love this idea and submitted a P2 OP recipe already. Leez, I would also love just a page that has P2 OP recipes rather than mixing them all together.
A recipe site is a great idea. I just looked through some of the recipes. Many sound delicious, but a lot of them have off protocol ingredients. I love Leez's idea to have an OP designation on the recipes.
I'm sure all of us have some items we consider okay while technically off protocol, but some people have a whole lot of items on that list. I'm fine with an extra dash of onion salt, but turkey and zucchini are a step too far for me. It'd be great to easily know which recipes need to be modified and which can be used as written. And many that are very off protocol might easily be adapted for those of us who prefer to be more strict, but some newbies might not be entirely certain what is strict protocol and what isn't.
I do want to try that saag recipe.
And the picture of the cream of chicken soup looks much better than my own P2 cream of chicken soup. I'm funny about that one. I can't even bear the thought of it some rounds and then I had one round where I ate it every day, sometimes twice a day.
I am so excited that you all like what's up so far! I've been wanting to organize the thousands of recipes here for ages, and I am determined to get it up and going now.
Thank you for the suggestion of adding an easier way to find phase-specific recipes. I've just added that so take a look and let me know if you find that helpful. Also feel free to let me know if you have any other suggestions- for the recipe site, or here on HDI. hdihealth ( @ ) gmail.com
I'm working mad-hours at the moment (like, 18 hours a day!) getting pages updated for the New Year, adding new resources, and we are even preparing for a forum upgrade with new features and improved mobile friendliness. I can't wait to see what you guys think!
Sending out the love xoxo

That's not exactly what we were talking about. Its to have a way to separate OP phase two recipes from those that include ingredients not in the OP. For instance.Originally Posted by Jenya

Is listed as a Phase 2 recipe, but it contains several ingredients that are questionable:
zucchini - not on the OP
chili powder (peppers are questionable on the OP because pimento peppers are mentioned as detrimental)
ground beef - not recommended for american HCG'ers
And adding both minced onion and tomatoes could be considered mixing vegetables.
Maybe a way to handle it is to have all Phase 2 recipes include an asterisk (*) next to off-OP and maybe ** or ? for questionable ingredients so that everyone can make their own decision on how strict they want to be about the allowed foods.

Hmm.... ok, now I see. Perhaps what I need is a "flag" button so non-OP recipes can be flagged for review and then have the * added. Since the recipes are guest-submissions, that would probably be the only option. Let me see what I can do.
Thank you for that Leez![]()
