    Covid affecting losses

I got Covid during about the 2nd week of being in phase 2. I had a really hard time eating anything, but forced myself to. I lost nothing that week, also didn't lose anything in the 2 weeks after that. I lost 2 pounds, then back to nothing. Has anyone else had Covid wreck a whole round. I've lost less than half of what I normally do. I typically use 30-34 pounds in a long round. And I've lost 16. Do I just need to bag it and wait for a while? Anyone experience this? I've never had a round with this few of pounds lost.

Generally, its not wise to continue a round and try to recover from a major sickness at the same time. Your body has to fight on too many fronts, and the inflammation from the infection could have certainly been the major factor in your poor losses.

Your instincts are right. It sounds like you are about 3 weeks in? If so, you can take an interruption (you must have had a minimum of 23 doses so far) for as long as 13 days and then resume for the rest of your long round. That interruption will give your body time to recover from the illness so that in the final days of your round, you will have a normal (for you) rate of loss. (For some of us, 16-18 pounds is all we get in a long round.)

If you've already completed your round, the only thing you can do going forward is to wait an appropriate time before starting another round.
