    fruitless?

    If I don't eat my fruits will I notice greater losses?

    No one can predict that. Some think they do. Others that tried it both ways say there is no real difference. It likely has a lot to do with your particular metabolism.

    I was one that didn't notice a difference. Whether I ate one fruit, two, or none, my losses were about the same.

    My opinion is that the protocol works as is for the vast majority. Unless you know for sure you are "fruit sensitive" in some way, why make it more difficult than it has to be?

    One thing I did notice is that on days I omitted fruit, I did not feel well. It may be that my blood sugars got too low without it.

    On my second of three rounds, I omitted the fruit and had great losses. On my third round, I lost better if I ate both fruits (All varieties of apples except Golden Delicious, and oranges only). I'm sensitive to Grapefruit and Strawberries, and always stalled or gained when I ate either of these. Lemons are no problem either, so don't know what the deal is with grapefruit, unless if has to do with medication I'm taking which reacts negatively with grapefruit.

    Ive always eaten both fruits but eliminate melba or grissini. I would not bother with one stick. Lol. I usually eat an orange and apple and occasionally strawberries I now am avoiding any sweeteners including stevia and that helps my hunger .

    I didn't even buy the melba or grissini on my first two rounds, but decided to try it on my last round. At that time, I noticed my losses were less if I didn't eat at least one fruit and both grissini. I also noticed that I could eat both grissini as a mid-afternoon (2-3PM) snack with no problem.

    Good to know. I always avoid grains but might consider this. I am doing a short round to get to my LIW from May 2015 plus 6 lbs below tgat Im setting my liw goal lower this year.
