    Injecting in thighs

If I choose to inject HCG in my thighs, do I do one thigh per round or can I alternate thighs in the same round?

You should alternate the injection sites from leg to leg in the same round. I don't like thigh injections at all. They hurt too much and I have more hunger on them personally.

My final round I injected in the mid-center thighs alternating each day. For me it was better and easier than the tummy, with no pain or hunger whatsoever.

When using the thighs to inject, you need to have more precise technique than doing abdominal shots. Measure up from your knee one and a half hand width and down from the level of your pubic area one and a half hand width. Stay on top of your thigh, about 4 fingers width. That is your target area of least bruising and least tenderness. If you have skinny legs, stick to the belly for injections. :-). Hope this helps.

Oh no I've been injecting in flabby inner thigh; is this ineffective? It's just I lose weight quickly from belly and find it painful and prone to bleeding. So it should be front of thigh?

Kats is right, when I said center thigh (not inner or outer), I would grab and spread the skin taught with my thumb and forefinger then insert the needle at a 45 degree angle, and release the skin. I wouldn't feel a thing doing it that way. There's a good YouTube video where a guy shows how to give an hcg injection in the thigh, which I used for guidance. Do a search and check it out., it makes it very easy.

The inner thigh skin is thinner, and tends to bruise more easily on most people. The outer thigh has many major nerves running through it.

    2 inch needle for HCG?

I have just finished my HCG Protocol for the 4th time. This time I read most of the book by Dr. Simeons, "Pounds and Inches." But some how I miss something that I don't remember reading. The paragraph below is the part I seemed to have missed.

"We use very fine needles that are two inches long and inject deep intragluteally in the upper quadrant of the buttocks. The injection should if possible not be given into the superficial fat layers, which is very obese patients must be compressed so as to enable the needle to reach the muscle. Obviously needles and strings must be carefully washed, sterilized and handed aseptically. It is also important that the daily injection should be given at intervals as close to 24 hours as possible. Any attempt to economize in time by giving larger doses at longer intervals is doomed to produce less satisfactory results." Page 53 Paragraph 3 "Pounds & Inches". The original HCG Diet Protocol by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons

My question is, how has HCG worked for me when I used a 1/2 inch very thin needle in my fat belly area? Has anyone used the long needle in the buttock area?

To my knowledge, I saw no mention of the thigh for HCG deliverance in Dr, Simeons book, though I think it would be easier than the buttock upper quadrant. Youtube has direction for finding the upper quadrant.

    Trish

    Still opened to learning.

Most everyone uses it the way you did. It works just fine that way.

good question. the ovidac 5000iu i have is clearly for IM injection and should be IM (single shot), but apparently works well for SQ in the very small doses we do.

even nurses are confused about IM vs SQ: http://allnurses.com/nursing-patient...ct-188008.html

All hcg says to inject into the muscle but it's for fertility. And it can be used for our purposes as SQ or even as sublingual.

The single dose refers to fertility treatment, remember HCG is not approved for weightloss and is not marketed that way on it's packaging. It's marketed/packaged for fertility treatments and meant to be mixed and injected all at one time. The only approved site is in the rear hip IM and the only approved dose is 125, everything else has been made up since then by other people.
