    Need a Do-over 😒

    Hi everyone,

i did my very first round in January and was quite successful, Losing 25 pounds. I did not stabilize well and I think it was largely due to us going on vacation during the phase 3 period. I did not adhere to the plan. As you might guess, the weight is coming back. More than half of it. I'm disappointed with myself but know that I just need to make a commitment and do another round. I wanted to do a second round anyway.....just didn't expect I'd be doing it to lose weight I'd already lost.

My my question is this: is there any reason that the second round will not be successful? It's been almost 5 months since completion of last round.

Any advice for me going in to this again?

thanks for your support. I couldn't do it without this forum.

I found that I lost about the same amount on all my rounds within a couple pounds. There is no reason you can't be just as successful in subsequent rounds.

You're better prepared now, because you have learned by experience how important it is to do P3 correctly. I expect you'll do quite well.

Thank you Leez. I needed that encouragement! Last time I went to a doctor and he prescribed hcg in cream form. It was obviously effective, but I'm thinking of buying injections on-line this time. I remember Grammy saying she bought the smaller package but because she didn't inject as much as the instructions said, she was able to make it last longer.....maybe 30 days? I will have to look for that posting. I'm nervous about mixing my own, but sounds like it's not too hard.

    thanks again for your support!

Yes, you can use the HCG mixture for 30 days before it degrades. That's about the limit though. Generally, you would start at the same dose you ended your last round with. But if you don't know or can't find out, 150iu or 125iu are both good choices to start.

I was nervous about mixing my own the first time I tried it. It helped me to watch a couple videos. And after the first time you do it, you will wonder why you were so nervous about it. Kind of like injecting yourself the first time (only with a few more steps.)

    Hi,

I am not as smart as Leez (who rocks) by any means, but perhaps my experience will help you. HCG supported my thyroid. After being off HCG in P3, by week 3 my thyroid always is not working as well. This causes my weight to increase. I have been on Armour thyroid for many years, but when I hit week 4-6 of post P2, or begin to get a weight increase without a cause, I get my thyroid checked and get my medication increased. That is what helped me maintain my losses.

Having said that, my autoimmune thyroid disease had a bad attack, my TSH went to 23.6, and while we were getting me stable I have gained a lot of weight so now I am starting again! So I am the poster child for thyroid can cause weight gain.

    Hope that helps!
