    Sharing my Hcg Diet Journal

    So, I'm sharing a journal of my current round. I'm on a mission to get back to my pre-baby weight this month. In the past, I have varied my plan, but this time, I've decided to go back to the original and stick as closely as possible. (I can hear Grammy cheering already.)
    It's a lot more challenging this time around- particularly because I have this 3 foot tall, little Dr. Seuss character running around the house eagerly trying to share his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, gummy bunnies, and mac n cheese. He's so cute, it's hard to say no!

    Anyway, I'm just finished Day 5 on Phase 2, and I'm sharing just a few thoughts each day, here: Jen's Hcg Diet Journal.

    Ohhh, thank you! You made my morning Tracy! I'm a little worried the journal post will be 7000 words or something crazy like that. I'm trying to reign it in a bit but it's so hard because there's so much you go through in a day on the diet, you know?

    My load was fairly good, 85% P3 foods mostly. I baked a huge zucchini lasagna and ate that for 2 days. I think the enormous amount of cheese, ricotta, Parmesan, and mozzarella I used helped with the 3.5 gain. Not as bad as other loads though, once it was 8 lbs. yikes.

    That sounds like a great loading diet! Now I want zucchini lasagna lol. I actually lost weight during my load, despite eating quite a lot. I'm not sure why exactly. Last night, my son's chicken noodles were calling to me... but I passed. Today, I have 0 hunger which has been great. I think lowering my lipo dosage was a smart move. I'm still holding strong on the 150iu for my Hcg though.

    Your an excellent writer Jenya. I enjoyed reading your blog. Doing great. I laughed a bit as you mentioned coach Leez lol. I must admit I follow the Original Protocol as well as it does work. And yes even though certain foods on that protocol don't work for everyone.
    One has to find what vegetable and protein work best for you.

    Good Luck... I am almost in P3, but still enjoy reading everyone's journey. I believe it is good info for those who are just beginning or others who have struggled.

    Aww, thank you so much! I just updated it again last night, and I'm finding it so hard not to write an entire book for each day! This coming week's updates should be interesting... I'm planning to test a few foods I get asked about a lot.

    I soooo agree with you about eating on the protocol. Grammy has been telling me for years that the original protocol is best... I can tell you, the days that I stray might be easier but they are definitely less losses than the days I am tight on the original approach. I do notice things that just don't vibe with me though, and other items that I do well with, even if they are rogue choices. I definitely do better when I nix cottage cheese and oranges. I have also noticed that I do exceptionally well with fish over anything else. In fact, for the healthiest and fittest years of my life, I was about 99% pescatarian and I looked and felt amazing- 6 pack abs and all.

    I always do a 30 day round, only once I did a 40 day round. But 30 is good, and i am quite ready by then to end it

    I guess for me the diet seems easy is because I don't have any hunger issues at all, the diet only becomes a bit hard for me in the last week, as I am ready to be done it.

    I wish you success on getting that 6 pack ab back again... I bet it felt great.

    It's almost back!!! The lines showed up after 8 days. I posted a pic on instagram this am, but I seem to be having issues here. I was so surprised to see how everything pulled in, but that 5 inches lost in week 1, really made a huge difference. I'll add the pic to the blog post and then see what the issue is with the forum upload.

    Lucky you, Jen! I have never had those abs, but I'm super happy to see my curves back. P3 always wows me with how my body reshapes, this P2 I'm already seeing the effort. I feel like my mind set is so strong with my next 20+ days. I'm looking forward the result of all this hard work.
