  • Sushi allowed in phase 2

We have a birthday dinner tonight and we are going to sushi.. We are wondering what is allowed in phase 2? White fish right? Can we do raw? We have been really good so far so we dont plan on cheating we just were wondering if anyone treaded on this territory and what you suggest! Thanks a million!

You can have raw fish. Make sure you don't have rice or sauces. Take some Bragg's if you want to dip it in soy sauce because regular soy sauce has wheat.

Neither are on protocol but I've seen others do the seaweed wrap. Soy would be a no-no though. I don't consume soy much at all because it messes with the thyroid. But a little Bragg's might be tasty.

Im not sure what soy paper is made out of, we will pass on that, but we will for sure find Braggs and take it with us. Thank you again!! We wanted to be prepared before hand! Any idea what kinds of other things to steer clear of? Octopus squid. .I mean I know they are not on protocol but they are white.. well sorta! Is there any white fish that we shouldnt eat? It would be so much easier to stay home! Ah! Birthdays! Boo!

Shrimp and lobster are fine. White fish. I've had ahi tuna with good losses too. I think eating it raw helps. LOL

It's at Kroger's in the natural food section. Probably in Safeway in the same place.

Having sushi myself tonight. My HCG partner in crime and I really need a break from preparing our own food and we are HUGE sushi fans. So I will stick to no rice and Shiromi (White Fish Sush). I will for sure bring some Braggs with me. I cannot wait. I don't know if the crab there is not real crab or is so we shall see. I REALLY CAN'T WAIT!! *super happy face*

I've eaten sushi quite a bit. I have the chef prepare a custom roll for me of crab & asparagus wrapped in cucumber. Wrapping in cucumber must be difficult because some sushi chefs can't do it.

Ask the chef to make you a Naruto roll, with white fish wrapped in a sheet of cucumber.
