  • Cooking with Coconut Oil?

    I have been seeing many people cooking with coconut oil to fry up there chicken or fish, is this a good idea?? Could it set you back from losing weight? Please help! I am going grocery shopping on Sunday so would like to know if I should or shouldn't buy it. Thanks!

    In P3 and P4 it is a good oil to use for cooking and for other things. In P2, it is very bad as it is off protocol, but it can also make it so you're unable to stabilize in P3 even if it doesn't cause you to gain in P2.

        Cooking with coconut oil is definitely one of the most effective concept over the weight loss program but apart from coconut oil Olive oils are also very much effective for human being it helps to reduce the cholesterol level as well as effective for heart patients.

          I have to say I am curious about this as wel because I have seen so much saying coconut oil is good for weightless as well as apple cider vinegar.

            Coconut oil is great once you hit P3. Not for P2 though.

                I think you buy any other healthy diet not for fish and oil. I think you take soya diet for get health.

                    P2 is a no fat type of diet. I know some do add cocoa crack, and some cook foods in CO or EVOO in P2. I wouldn't suggest doing that. While doing P2 you are teaching your body to use fat for energy. When you go P3, then adding healthy fats to your diet helps you stabilize.

                    Fish and healthy oils are far better for vitality/health then soy products (most of which are GMO here in the States). Just my humble opinion.

                      I'm confused. I'm doing the drops thru a Dr assisted program/kit. It says coconut oil is ok in Phase 2 in small amounts and in replace of your daily mineral oil. It also says coconut oil may help during a stall. I need clarification.

                        They are not advising you based on the protocol designed by Founder, Dr. Simeons. It would be better to read Pounds & Inches and follow his protocol if you want to ensure good results.

                            Most don't recommend trying coconut oil 'til P3. It is fairly high fat and P2 is focused on lower fat content.
