    Greetings all!
    I thought I'd get this group back up and running by creating a monthly check in discussion.
    I'm starting at 246.8 lb, and I know being accountable will help me be successful in conjunction with the HCG injections and protocol.
    I'm working with a nurse practitioner to add accountability, and daily check ins will help to.
    I'm just finishing up my loading days, and getting ready to start VLCD [Very Low Calorie Diet] tomorrow.

    P1 - Day 3 - 249.6 lb

    Can't wait to get started on P2 and the lifestyle changes I need! Can't wait to meet more people on the forum.

    yayy!! Quick question, and a little off topic, but how many VLCD will you be doing this round? I'm thinking I'll start with 30 and see how it goes from there

    My program covers 45 days, and I think 3 of those are the VLCD with no HCG - so about 42 days?
    This is my first go with this program so I'm excited to find other people doing it.

    That's awesome! The first three days on the VLCD are always the hardest for most people, myself included. It's VLCD D2 for me and I weighed in at 205 this morning on my brand new scale. My old scale said I started at 220 but I'm guessing I was more around 210.

    P2 - Day 1 - 248.8 (AM)
    So far so good - a little surprised by how the thought of hunger comes and goes - I'm not really hungry most of the time, but it's like my brain wants to be hungry...
    Stuck to the diet perfectly, but missed the mark with water intake - the day just flew by and it was noon before I filled a glass.
    I ate my dinner then made DH's dinner. I got the tiniest bit of spaghetti sauce on my finger while closing the sauce lid and licked it off - froze, panicked, and ran to the sink to flush my mouth with water. It's going to take some time to adjust those mindless habits while cooking someone else's food.
    @losetogain, Sorry to hear about your scale - but at least you changed scales early in the diet. Onward and upward! I hope everything else went well for you today.

    R1 - P2 - Day 2 - 244.4 (AM)
    Had shrimp with dinner, and realized afterwards that I measured cooked shrimp at the same weight I was supposed to weigh uncooked shrimp. A little sad about that.
    Had to go visit the office for the Lipo/B shot - couldn't handle the intramuscular stuff. Protocol going great otherwise. I do wonder if I should eat less if I'm not hungry...

    Do most calculate their weight loss based on per-program weight or post-load weight?

    Have to remember to only weigh once... my evening weight is not predictive of my morning weight (obviously, but more drastic now than before). The scale says weight is coming off, haven't noticed it in clothing yet. Can't wait!
