    What do you do if you are craving goodies??

    I drink a gallon of water per day and try to space out my meals but, I cant help myself when I see certain commercials or when ppl around me munch on the good stuff!!

    I think I am going to cut out the grissini because it only makes me want more and more.

    I KNOW its not on protocol but, are any of you doing anything different??

    Also, I will be out of town this weekend so I stopped my drops Monday night in order for the drops to be out of my system in time. Im soooo nervous about the weight gain but, Ive decided to suck it up and move on!

    Has anyone ever did one of these?

    I don't even eat grissini/melba toast. I'm a carb addict and I've found that eating carbohydrates just makes me want more of them. Instead, I eat one VERY large apple. This has carbs, natural sugar, and is very filling. Also, I drink sparkling mineral water with a twist of lime; it's so refreshing and a nice treat! If I am really craving sugar, I will whiz up my serving of strawberries in the blender with ice and a packet of Stevia.

    I hope some of the above work for you! Don't give in! Stick with the protocol! I know it's hard, but sugar and carbs are addictions, and for my first VLCD week I felt like I was going through drug withdrawl. If you can stick it out, your cravings should vanish. Be strong and hang in there!

    As far as stopping the drops for a few days, I've never tried it, but I wish you the best! Remember that you will need to do a load day again when you get ready to re-start your routine.

    Yummy!!! I will have to try the strawberries and also invest in larger apples! I will let you know how it goes! I finally talked my room mate into ordering drops so I'm very excited to have support at home and on here!

    I don't know if you like coffee but I have several different flavored stevia drops - chocolate, hazelnut, toffee, vanilla. I know the protocol says "milk" but I still use my organic 1/2 & 1/2. I put 1/2 a T into my coffee with some of the flavored drops and it's SO good. Sweet enough to satisfy the sweets craving for me. So maybe around the office if people are having goodies you could sip on that instead. As for the melba toast/grissini - my first round the carbs were a huge deal but after completing that round I don't really eat near as many carbs as I used to. I guess I finally broke myself of the habit (I think they say it takes like 21 days to make or break a habit). So this round the melba toast isn't a big deal for me. However I have heard people on here talk about something called miracle noodles (I think). You have to order them online but somehow they have like no calories.

    How far into your round are you now that you're stopping the drops? I don't know how that works but I know if you went onto the grammies groupies section someone there would have some experience with it.
