My scale has gone wacky, so now I'm in the market for a new one.
Which scale do you all recommend? I had a Taylor, but the one I almost bought today is plastic and cheap, and the Weight Watchers scale has too many bells and whistle I don't need to justify the cost.
Any input would be appreciated.
I'm in P4 and have been hanging in there with low-carb living. However, since Christmas, I've been up 5-7 lbs. above LDW. I have a friend who just finished the Whole 30 and is now introducing dairy and grains, P3 style. I'm considering doing that over the 40 days of Lent. Anybody do that before? Would you recommend it? I don't want to do another round for 5 lbs...
Question:
Is a steak day okay for me to do if I have a physical challenge at 3:00?
I have to swim four laps of a YMCA pool for a Boy Scout endurance test this afternoon, but I need a steak day, too. Will the steak day make me feel drained or can I exercise vigorously while basically fasting?
My favorites are:
- gout's gone
- arthritic hips feel fine
- gums don't bleed anymore
- sleeping much better
- blood pressure is more normal (was abnormally low)
- blood sugar issues resolved
I could go on and on, but I'd like to hear from others...
Just had a physical yesterday and my blood pressure was a nice, normal 120/70. It's usually 106/60 which my doctor said was caused by stressed adrenals. He said my adrenals are normal now. Not only do I look better, but I'm healthier than I've been in years. Hurrah!
