Friday morning marked my last dose of HCG weighing in at 127.5. I have dropped a bit below my goal these past few days. I guess that's where the wiggle room comes in. Last round I only dropped .5 lb below LDW during the 72 hours so I am quite pleased about this unexpected loss. Friday nite I did attend my office dinner. I really wanted to cop out but my dear friend and coworker rec'd some bad news and I wanted to be there to support her. I wouldn't say it was easy but I stuck with my plan
My last day of P2 will be Tuesday. I have reached my goal on my new scale and I'm hoping that my old scale catches up by then. I'll be using my new one solely going forward so I will be going with that one regardless. It measures more precisely. My old one only does .5 pound incrementsbut I'd still like to see it say 128 by Tuesday morning. I had a gain yesterday morning from eating a late dinner and very high sodium. Who knew Braggs amino acid had so much? I made a huge batch of hot and
The scale has been good to me the past couple of days. As of this AM, only 3 pounds to goal! Still not sure how many dose days I'll be doing. 23 is this Friday. I'll see how the last 3 come off. I may have to go longer that that. I am prepared to go to 43 but I would like to end sooner. Praying to the scale gods!
I have been continuing to read my book and train my brain to think like a thin person. I'll be needing many of the skills that I am learning more going into P3 and P4 but
Day 9 VLC, down 10.5 lbs, 7.50 to go. So far, so good. I spent yesterday preparing chili (14 servings in the crockpot), hot and sour soup with cabbage (4 servings), lemon chicken soup with spinach (4 servings) and chicken cilantro for lettuce wraps (4 servings). I now have my P2 meals ready for the rest of this round. Yeah!
This past week I have instilled some of the previous week's lesson from the Beck Diet Solution book. I read my advantage response cards twice every day to remind
VLC day 1 went smooth yesterday. I have to say that I enjoy the empty feeling and occasional rumbles in my stomach again.
It makes me feel in control.
I don't mind eating the same things several days in a row, so I made 12 servings of chili in the crockpot (had that for both meals yesterday) and 6 servings of asparagus soup. Thanks Beth M for the recipe. My husband is grilling up a bunch of chicken breasts for us, so I'm set for the week. I often have 2 apples each day too.
