Checking in to see how you are doing. I am loading for R2. I cannot wait to get started again!
Just wanted to check in!! I am doing well. VLCD40 is Friday and I am excited about P3. .2 shy of 25 pounds down!! Yahoooooo!! Here is a great link of P3 pointers : http://hcgvictoria.files.wordpress.c...ence_guide.pdf
Hi Pat! Yes, my husband works--he has a small, personal training studio here at the house. He doesn't make anything NEAR what he was making in the States, but he is happy and content with the clients he has and the work that he does. We don't really need much and the money he earns plus with what I earn supplement my veteran's benefit perfectly. I bake for private clients--birthdays, weddings, and Friday teas/luncheons. I make American and European style pastries and am the only one in the city who does. Christmas time is unbelievably busy, but I love the baking!
with a handle like yours, I am surprised that you like Chiloe in any season because sunshine is not what that place is about! Santiago-I've only been there once and would be perfectly happy to never go again. I am in the desert north. It doesn't rain here and it doesn't get cold. We get sun nearly every day. We came here because 9/11 really changed our perspectives on life and what 'living' really meant. What we discovered it did not mean was all the stress of our jobs, the long hours, and nonliving. So I just researched the entire globe and found a place near the sea, that was warm year-round, was inexpensive, had low crime, was not a third world country, had good healthcare, and voila!-Arica Chile. I spent another few years researching this area and saving money... in 2006, Rudy and I, along with our cat, Aristophanes, made the big move.
I am checking in to promote the buddy system and see how things are going. My weight loss has slowed a few times, but I am staying positive as clothes are getting baggier every day and I still feel great. Having zero carb and sugar hangovers makes this all worth it!! How are you doing?? (VLCD13 and 12 pounds down, 52 to go.)
My hubby is a personal trainer as well AND my son is a chef in Burlington VT. My husband has NO experience with hcg and as a result is going to work with me to try to figure out the best way to exercise someone who is doing this diet without causing harm. I really hate the gym--probably because it is at my home, hehehe--and prefer to do cardio, but I know that if I have a lot of weight come off rapidly at my age, 50, I will have a terrible time with loose skin. I was thinking very light weights during vlcd and then kicking it into heavier weights during P3. Do you think this is a terrible idea? Anyway, nice to "meet" you. I should be seeing you around quite a lot, I hope. Mila
In it to win it!! :)
