    How are you doing? I think we chatted the other day. I loaded May 12 & 13. Today, Sunday, is VLCD8 for me. I only lost .4 today...but I expect this week to be lower. I'm having trouble drinking the 3 quarts of water I need to drink each day; I love Vitamin Zero Water but don't know if I can drink it or not. It would make my life easier!! Hope you are doing well.

    Hey chica! Glad your weigh in went well and SO glad you're taking a multivitamin. Make sure you're getting enough potassium in your system... you'll know if you are or aren't if you start getting cramps in your legs. The clinic I'm going to says at least 64 oz of water a day and you can replace some of that with green tea. The people on here drink a lot more than that... I tend to drink a little more. I drink about ... maybe over 70ish to 80ish a day. What i would suggest is count your tea as part of your water intake. However, take my advise with a grain of salt (not literally you salt fiend lol) as you're losing a lot more than I am... I keep sneaking.

    Well, it could be worse. I have stalled now for 3 days. Nothing up. Nothing down. They say people do this and then loose quite a bit on day 4. We'll see tomorrow. You're doing great. (-.4) What ever you're doing seems to be working. It really makes you think about what it was we ate the day before, doesn't it? TTYL. Have a good day!

    Hey lady! Glad to hear about the vitamins. Did you go to the clinic yet? I'd write down a list of questions to ask them. You might need more than just a multi-vitamin. 500 calories leaves a lot of defecits in a diet. You're basically tricking the body into starving itself, but you are kind of starving yourself of vitamins and minerals with the drastic decrease of vitamins a day. Make sure to ask about your liquid intake as well. The place I go to tells us to eat at least 25 grams of protein a day. Also to make sure you get enough fiber. They've suggested 2 glasses of Kelloggs K2O. It's 30 calories each serving and goes into 20 oz of water. It helps increase your fiber and keep you regular and it has 5 grams of protein in each serving as well. And it's pretty yummy. Hope this helps.

I did a bad, bad thing!

Well, actually it's a combination of bad things. First of all I forgot to take my regular meds yesterday morning. I had no BM all day. Then about mid afternoon the craving started.... salt... salt... SALT! First I ate a lemon with salt for my lunch and then a shaker of Twangs Pickle Salt magically appeared on my computer desk. Needless to say by the time I went to bed the shaker was considerably lighter than when I first started in on it. *hangs head in shame* Of course I liberally used

Yummy Protein Shake!

Was leery about protein shakes but JoNichelle was doing well with them so I decided to give it a shot. She mixes hers with coffee. I added my own twist to it by adding about six - eight ice cubes and blending it all in my smoothy making blender. You know the kind that makes individual servings? After yesterdays loss of almost 3 lbs, and the excitement of it, todays loss of only .4 was a real let down. I am on VLCD7 and I expected more! What a disappointment. The only thing I did different yesterday was that I snuck in 8 grape tomatoes before I went to bed. I got all my fluids in before 8 pm. I got all my calories in that I was supposed to:

Breakfast - 17 oz of water 1 orange
Lunch - spinach, tilapia, 32 oz of water
Supper - cabbage and beef soup 32

After days of minimal weight loss I woke up this morning to... *drum roll* A LOSS OF THREE POUNDS! Or is it 2.8 lbs? Not sure if I calculated it right. Ok... I'll stop shouting but I am so excited! I was very strict on my diet yesterday, cut out the bread sticks and lemon juice with sea salt. I got all my water/tea in and I didn't eat anything after 8 pm. JoNichelle wants me to change that to 7 pm and really I tried but I had an apple I was eating and got distracted so it was 8 before I finished.
