It has been well over a year since I've been on HCG or in this Forum. A lot has changed and during the past year I've been poked, tested, medicated and retested. Finally, I found out after all that, what has been going on with my body. I was finally diagnosed with a low thyroid which means I have hypothyroidism.

I have way more to lose than she does but she had been doing "shakes" for quite some time and wasn't able to lose anymore weight. She came over last Saturday, saw what I looked like and was sold.
I told her after drinking shakes for so long VLCD would be a piece of cake for her and that she could lose the last 20+ lbs by the end of June and we could be in P3 for the picnic on July 4. She did not believe me. Once I explained what I knew, shared a few YouTube videos that

Yesterday I was on track until I got hit with a curve ball. I love how kids tell you at the last minute about an event at school.
Long story short, my son was in a talent show and didn't tell me until 1:30 pm that the show was at 5:30 pm. Ahhhhhh.....
I managed to get off early but the show took way longer than expected. I nornally have dinner between 7:00 - 7:30 because I don't eat after 8:00 pm. The show was over around 8:45 and we didn't leave until after 9:00pm.

The new battery in my scale did the trick. I am so happy I didn't have to get a new one. 
I was down .6 this morning. Woooo Hoooo. I am so happy. I did cheat yesterday - on cucumbers and celery. It saved me from having any of the sweets that were at the bbq. I also had a little more protein than usual and I did not have any bbq sauce.

Well I bought a new battery last night and this morning I stepped on the scale twice and it was the same weight - up .4 but I'm okay with that since, I was getting different weights for almost a week. I now have a new starting point.
The recent scale issues, set me back and I lost my motivation. So, I decided to do a mini load yesterday and part of today. Today, I pre-cooked all my different proteins, cut up my veggies and put me meals in containers and baggies. Although I expect
