The water therapy was too much. There was a schedule you had to be on and I seemed to be going to the bathroom all day long. I stopped after about 2 days and went back to drinking water like I normally do. With the garlic, it says only dried flakes are considered seasonings and since garlic is not a vegetable leaf it doesn't count. I gave up garlic for about a week and started back using it. I really didn't notice any difference in losing with or without the garlic or the additional water. I will have to look for the pdf's. They are probably still in my email somewhere.
Hi I was wondering how the Japanese Water Therapy went? It sounds intriguing as I always have trouble getting all my water in. In the schedule you had posted in November you did not specify how taking the pellets fit into the schedule. Is it possible to share the pdf you spoke of? Oh, and garlic. I love garlic! Did you have to remove it from the seasonings you used? Thanks! Ann
ok that's got to be the best avatar ever! LMAO!
I should also add, in a different email I was sent, it says to watch the calorie content of the dry spices. For example: 1 tsp garlic powder = 8 cal 1 tbs garlic powder = 28 cal 1 tsp onion powder = 8 cal, 1 tbs onion powder = 24 cal, etc. I now add the calories of the spices to my total daily count and it does make a real difference when you're seasoning everything with onion, garlic, cumin, curry and chili powders. That's why I try to avoid them as much as possible.
Now I only use fresh garlic in my oriental wrap because it just doesn't taste the same without the garlic. On the pdf I got it says seasonings are considered to be dry seasonings only and fresh garlic is not dry. So, I occassionally use very little garlic powder. The dry seasonings are pretty high in calories if you use a lot so I have been mainly using sea salt, pepper, braggs and a no calorie creole seasoning I found at Vons. The line on the pdf reads: ITEMS YOU NEED TO HAVE ... Dry Seasonings, (NO FRESH GARLIC etc.) ... Hope that helps.
Did you decide to cut out the garlic as mentioned in your pellet pdf? Someone was asking about that rule in the pellet thread.
