About DIY Girl
Biography:
Hi, my name is Tonya and I'm new to hcg and this forum. I have been extremely athletic for almost my entire life until a 2nd ACL surgery on the same knee 2 years ago sidelined me from many of the things that kept me fit. I used to run half marathons, play competitive softball, flag football, hike and pretty much any other type of physical challenge. After the surgery I lost all my taut muscle and it was replaced with ugly flab. I've been able to make the adjustments needed to stop the weight gain but for 2 years i have struggled to get the now present fat off. Giving hcg a shot after having two friends who were both extremely successful. I'm married with no children and I'm so happy I have a very supportive husband because I know he will keep me in line to meet my goals.

Well... I made it through day 1. And let me tell you it was no small feat. I did have some hunger pangs BUT I fought thru it and stuck to my allowances and today I have a 2.3 loss to celebrate.

I spoke with my friend who introduced me to hcg and she assured me that hunger sometimes does happen but only for the first day or two so hopefully today will be easier than yesterday. I woke up with a headache but since it is starting to be allergy season here in the south, I don't know

Former athlete starting a new journey....now where's that finish line?

by DIY Girl on September 27th, 2011 at 06:52 AM
About a month or so ago I visited a very good friend whom I had not seen in about a year. Sad to say it was mostly my fault that I had not.... you know how it goes... work, travel, chores. Anyway, I had heard from other friends how good she looked and when she opened the door I saw what they meant. She looked FAN-TAB-ULOUS!
I had to know how she had done it!

You see, I have been athletic almost all my life. I did everything. Running half marathons, playing travel competitive
