Hi dubbles! I wanted to see how you were?? I am on VLCD 5 right now and everything has been fine. I am just pissed at myself because I screwed up my last round and last half my hair for me to mess up big time.

I wanted to know how your last round went how is p3/4 going for you and all that!

Hey Dubbs! Just wanted to check in and see how p3 is going for you! I havent seen you blog in a while. Are you over on the p3 forum?

Hi Dubbs, thanks for the comments to my thread. So this is funny, my last name is Dubbs... we related?
  5. Gina, I think you're supposed to wait 30 minutes, but I never did. I'd remember to take them right as I getting ready to fix dinner, or eat, and so 15 minutes either way was generally what I managed. I started on pellets this a.m. for just 14 days. This should be interesting. You did shots didn't you? Good luck to your cousin.

Hey Dubbs, when you're using drops does it matter how long before or after you eat when you take them? My cousin started this week and asked me and I've not a clue.

Yeah I'm not to good at this steak day thing...I get to hungry. So they've kind of become protein days, brings me down a pound but in the safety zone.

Glad your doing well on P3. OMG can't imagine seeing 130 anything on a scale....good for you. Maybe I'm not eating enough of the right foods, starting out with french onion dip and pork rinds probably not the brightest choice on week1 of P3...lol But I was craving crunch bad after 3 days of starving without the hcg.

    Nice chatting.

  8. Hi Gina, Hope you're feeling ok. I'm doing fine stabilizing, day 11 on p3, and am up 1.4 from LIW. I had way too much fage yogurt yesterday. And I paid for it on this mornings weigh-in. Jdc (Joanie) and I have joined a P3 Big Eaters Thread, really enjoy. Then Joanie and I decide to go back to p2 (I'm waiting for my pellets to get here), this week, for a short 2 week period, as we both will be going on trips this spring. Don't know if this will work, hope to lose the other 8-10 lbs. I want for cushioning, take me to high 130's, but I'm willing to try. It's sort of a "planned interruption". Do we sound like crazy people. She said, you don't think we're getting a weight loss fixation, do you? I don't think that's possible with me. Just hope this works. Sorry your p3 isn't going well. Are you eating enough? I've never done a true steak day, and this time I've eaten so much dairy, I haven't craved the steak, plus DH needs to get gas for my outdoor grill. lol. Keep in touch.

Hey Dubbs, How's P3 land? Hope all is going well.

After 1 week P2 and going to P3 for me has been difficult. Going on my 2nd steak day already, woke up this morning 3# over LDW. Much harder to stabilize this time. Yikes I don't know those girls do that cycling stuff. Thank goodness I like steak. TOM still an issue...can't wait for the 29th.

Hope you're having your blue cheese steaks and a great time.

  10. thank you

Leez's post on oat fiber

You can use oat fiber to temper the dense calories you get in almond flour baked goods as well. Usually you can replace up to half the almond flour called for, depending on the recipe. But even replacing a quarter lightens things up significantly.

I wanted to share a variation of Pearly's Artichoke Dip/Casserole... Full disclosure, my friend gave me this recipe, and yes, I've been known to eat it with a spoon. Also goes great with Plantain chips!

1 can Artichoke Hearts, diced (the soup sized can)
1 can Water Chestnuts, diced (the tuna sized can)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese,

I remember ten years ago, I was not alone in cabbage causing gain. It truly leaves me sad! lol For the slaw... I take a standard bag'o-slaw... shred or dice apples... add balsamic and stevia (to taste) and chill overnight. I top
