    Thanks for your email the other day. The whole placenta thing kind of scared me. ) Hope P3 is treating you well. I think I may be starting R2P2 on March 28th with my friend. It will be her R1 for her. I'm really excited to see what she thinks about it.

    Thanks Dubbles. Nope - I bought mine from GNC and I don't think they work as well as what others are doing. I appreciate the links and information. Why would you recommend the kits instead? Just curious.

    Oh, I tried rice last night and some yummy sauce that most likely had a bunch of sugar in it when I went out to eat last night for my girlfriends 40th b-day. Today the scale read the same as yesterday. Yay! Although, I'm always worried about waiting out the 2 day thing. Anyway, yay!

    Hey Dubbs where do you get your hcg and what type do you use? My 2 cousins want to try but I don't know where to advise them to purchase. My insurance covers my doctor and script.


    Ps. are in P3 tomorrow is my 1st VLCD had a ball loading all weekend.

    The uptick could just be fat cells filled with water getting ready for another inches style loss... OR... It could be signaling you to take a break. I think you are at a point where it's going to be mind over matter. The number of days was probably set up because, if you were pregnant, that's probably the amount of time your body produces the hormones necessary to start growing and feeding a baby. After that period of time... The baby is probably producing the hormones to signal you to feed it, etc. Different mechanisms... *shrug*. Maybe drops lose effectiveness past a certain point... Who knows. I say that you should go with how you feel mentally. If you are getting worn down... Move on to P3. You're close enough you can get where you want to be without hcg.

    I think there are far too many judgmental people out there who believe that there is only one "right" way to eat... "Clean Eating" or "Good Foods" and "Bad Foods"... I think that's why many people don't admit all the things they actually eat. Fear of the backlash. I just don't agree. There are obviously foods that are more nutritious than others but I think the poison is in the dose and not the type of food. No one got fat and creating any health problems from eating a donut or a cookie or a chocolate or chips or whatever. It's the mass consumption that is unhealthy. The dose. . Your inch loss is PHENOMENAL!!! I bet you are thrilled!!! Good for you!!! . I have noticed how encouraging you are with others... You are doing a wonderful thing. Try not to get overwhelmed by it though. If you need to step back for a while, do it. Sometimes you need to take a break from diet thinking.

    I really never realized all those little things I take for granted. Today is day 44. I had a BIG cheat last week & gained 6 lbs! overnight. Sooo I decided to do a couple extra days to get it off. I cut out the fruit & melba and uped the meat to 4 oz. & tons of water. This is my first round, I don't know if I was suppose to do that, but it worked. The cheat was soooooo worth it & I didn't really let myself feel too guilty, I did what I did. I learned too, 6 lbs lbs worth & my body hurt for days. Next treat is a facial. I hate to say "good luck" because I know luck, has nothing to do with it ... so instead ... good job. Will see you in P3 soon.

You can use oat fiber to temper the dense calories you get in almond flour baked goods as well. Usually you can replace up to half the almond flour called for, depending on the recipe. But even replacing a quarter lightens things up significantly.
