So I'm on my 5th day on P2 now, round 1 for anyone new to my blog. Since the beginning on P1, I've lost a total of 12 pounds. 12 pounds in one week...WOW!! Additionally, today was my first measurement day. Assuming all my measurements are totally accurate, I've also lost about 12 inches total. I'm a seamstress by hobby so I'm pretty good with measuring bodies.
Food-wise I've had ups and downs. I have not cheated thus far. My headaches seem to have totally disappeared (*knocks on
For those who haven't seen the reply from my last post, my headache seems to have gone away after two straight days of it. Though I still feel weird...it's as though I'm on a balance beam with it, and one small push will bring it right back on...perhaps like a tense muscle without the pain, if that makes sense. For example, if a particularly cold breeze blows on me for a few minutes, I feel a slight return, but it goes away and I just feel it 'on the edge of possibly coming back'. After the last
I'm on day 2 of the VLCD/P2. I still have the same headache I had yesterday....it's mostly in the front of my head. It's not intolerable for the most part, just a general nuisance. But I did lose 4 pounds since yesterday, so that's a plus! Following the protocol well so far. On the plus side, the nausea has mostly ceased at this point. I read on the forums about dosages one way or the other. I was on the loooow end of the spectrum, so I upped it just a bit and that seems to have done the trick.
Today was a little rough. I followed the protocol well. I've been really nauseous most of the day (I get nauseous when my body requires food, lol). I've been drinking water to help with it...but the water seems to be encouraging that feeling all the more. Tea slows it a little. I do have an on-the-edge-of-a-splitting-headache sort of headache, but I half-expected that as lots of others on here said they got that from the lack of carbs. Could also be the decrease in caffeine today. I'm feeling REALLY
Phew! Made it past the loading phase. I question whether I ate enough....it's very difficult to 'eat to capacity' because I have never really done so. My weight, I think, came primarily from eating late at night combined with lack of activity (desk job...sort of)...eating has never really been the issue. Ah, well! Did gain two pounds from the loading phase. I'm not sure if one can expect to gain or lose weight, or if one shouldn't have expectations of weight one way or the other in P1. Either way
