  4. Can I be one of your kids?

I'll keep my eyes open for your come back and be there with bells on!!

Since I had to up my drops dosage, they aren't lasting as long as I expected. But I'm ok with that. Hopefully I'll have lost my first 10 pounds by the time they're gone. I do have a question for you.....Will I have to wait 6 weeks before starting again? I wasn't doing it for the 45 day protocol. I know once the weather turns warm and the pool is open I'll be wanting those extra lbs to go poof.

  6. Sorry to hear you have to go through all that fibroid stuff. Hope it goes well for you.

I had what you might call a meltdown last week (personal issues) which set me back a few days, but I'm back at it. Thanks for checking in!!

Hi Gina, Hope you're feeling ok. I'm doing fine stabilizing, day 11 on p3, and am up 1.4 from LIW. I had way too much fage yogurt yesterday. And I paid for it on this mornings weigh-in. Jdc (Joanie) and I have joined a P3 Big Eaters Thread, really enjoy. Then Joanie and I decide to go back to p2 (I'm waiting for my pellets to get here), this week, for a short 2 week period, as we both will be going on trips this spring. Don't know if this will work, hope to lose the other 8-10 lbs. I want for cushioning, take me to high 130's, but I'm willing to try. It's sort of a "planned interruption". Do we sound like crazy people. She said, you don't think we're getting a weight loss fixation, do you? I don't think that's possible with me. Just hope this works. Sorry your p3 isn't going well. Are you eating enough? I've never done a true steak day, and this time I've eaten so much dairy, I haven't craved the steak, plus DH needs to get gas for my outdoor grill. lol. Keep in touch.

WTH??? Gout??? I thought only old people got the gout!

by ginal5 on July 2nd, 2011 at 09:46 AM
Well now that I eat more red meat and protein gout has invaded my hands! OMG it's not nice. Apparently another side affect from a low carb diet. Since doing hcg and loosing 30 pounds I do not eat a lot of carbs and have definitely increased the amount of protein I used to eat.

Note to others please keep your water intake up and continue to eat lots of fresh greens and fresh fruits to avoid this happening to you. Sour cherry juice is helping and I've tripled my water intake again

P4 tougher for me this time???? Sugar intervention needed.

by ginal5 on June 20th, 2011 at 05:24 AM
I think it's tougher during the summer months to do this plan. I'm weak with summer foods....mac salad, hot dogs, ice cream, strawberry shortcake...yikes. I'm up 3# again.

Yesterday:

Breakfast:
Ezekial english muffin with butter, Peanut butter and homemade elderberry jelly.

Lunch/dinner: hot dog 1/2 roll, small order onion rings loaded with catsup and a small chocolate shake

snacks: popcorn with butter
apple, strawberries

P4 transition & NYC trip

by ginal5 on June 15th, 2011 at 05:09 AM
photo-2.jpgOnto to P4 and maintaining at 169 which is technically 3# over LDW but I'm sticking with it.. P4 is great! Although the scales are not reducing my clothes are looser and tone is tighter. Reduced appearance of cellulite in legs and behind. I still have not measured after completing R2VLCD. Just so darned busy. It's on my punch list.

Any how this past weekend went to visit daughter and we spent 3 days in NYC. What a hoot, Zarkana Circ du So lei at

P3 quick update....holding at 3# over LDW

by ginal5 on June 8th, 2011 at 06:18 AM
P3 was more difficult this time for me. I was soooo hungry after LDW. I've done about 4 steak days and only lost 1.5 pounds each time only to shoot back up to 3# over LDW so I'm going to stick with that as my final weight. As much as I love steak I'm just to darned hunger to go all day without food this time. Not sure what's the difference.

Other than I've been working outside like a farm hand EVERYday even in rain if it's not pouring. We virtually could not do any spring work

P3 Day 3 Okay time to get my head in the P3 game....steak day.

by ginal5 on June 1st, 2011 at 04:18 AM
Steak day....I'm 4# over LDW but it's really no surprise with all the food I've been eating. Not sure why I've been so hungry at the end of R2P2 this time. Or maybe it's just my mind wanting to go back to P4 and enjoy life without restrictions. But whatever it is it's time to get back in the game.

Sipping my coffee this morning and filled the water bottle....holiday is over! I'll get at least 2-3 pounds off with steak day. They worked like a charm on R1 but I only had to do 2
