I love food. However, up until this point I have let food and it's effects on my body rule my life, bringing shame and guilt.

I am a young mother of one, sweet boy. I've been married, happily, for 3.5 years now. I love spending time with these two guys in my life and when I am not doing that I am a graphic designer, love painting, and volunteer with the organization, Young Life. All of these and life in general keep me busy! Constantly thinking about food really gets in the way.

Losing momentum...

Feeling tired of being on a diet.... I have been off and on the hhcg drops and P2 protocol for a few months now. I have lost 15 pounds with some ups and downs in there that I did not record exactly (funny how we get excited to write down the good stuff and really want to avoid recording the bad stuff!) ... I gained 7 on vacation and lost it all again, then gained another 5 over this past weekend and I am in the process of losing that again. My problem with the gains has been that I didn't move into

Taking a planned interruption...

Today is the first P3 day of my planned interruption... I am at 148.5 and plan on maintaining that through the weekend before picking my drops and vlcd back up on monday or tuesday of next week. I will be sticking mainly to P2 style foods, but will not be held to the restrictions from oils, cheeses and fats. There were just too many events this weekend to get around! Plus, I will get to enjoy a little wine and champagne.

I am up half a pound... or at least somewhere in there, because my scale only reports in .5 increments.

I am feeling a little water logged today. I know I added quite a bit of salt in my food last night AND i know I didn't drink nearly enough water all day yesterday, but i am not really sure if that accounts for the whole gain.

Breakfast - 1 Gala Apple

Lunch - Chicken & Tomato soup

The stall hath subsided...

Down a pound this morning, whoop! I found that i was not discouraged through this stall. I just kept remembering that this is a process with ups and downs and an end goal that doesn't change.
