Question for P2 and working out

So, I understand that working out is okay if you've already been doing a routine. my question is, if you are
burning around 500 calories in a workout, how much do you add in? I've been adding 1-2 protein shakes per day at 120 calories, 25 grams of protein each to make up because I think it is affecting weight loss and it is hard to guage. any thoughts?
