    And no the Dr's office isn't the only place to get Rx hcg...you can get Rx hcg (different types) online....just gotta fine one that is secure and comes highly recommended. I just chose not to use Rx, and my drops work just as great!

    Hi Jake. I do know that the drops at 1234 are homeopathic, and do have real hcg in them from what I have researched. They work. I am the typical case that did not believe it would work on me....and I truly have not been hungry, lost 26lbs so far....and I'm almost to 115lbs-which means it works whether you want to lose 100lbs or 20lbs. Pretty cool!
  6. That is great that you are following your bliss and working on getting back into dancing!

    I never intended to get into dancing… I had been a martial artist for years and was very flexible though. My music instructor knew of an opening for a dancer and recommended that I go for the job because of my physical coordination. That first job led to others. Over the next few years I was employed as an actor/entertainer. I danced in many of those roles. I can’t say that I ever mastered any particular dance style, but I performed a little in each of these styles: folk, ballroom, Native American, modern interpretive, clogging, swing, square dancing, Scottish, and (my favorite) Cherokee firedancing.

    Hey Jake! That is really neat that you dance, it's hard to find guys that know anything but the typical bar moves, LOL. About five years ago I was in a HipHop and Lyrical Troupe and we had some really great shows, but with a change in jobs and going back to school I gave it up and gained 50lbs. I made a commitment to myself to get back to my passion, I just don't think I enjoy life the same without classes. I think I'm going to learn Country and relearn Swing. What kind of dance are you into?

    Hey Jake! I actually eat at Chipotle, the fast food restaurant. It is not necessarily protocol because I can't guarantee their spices, but i have found it keeps me from going too crazy and doesn't stall me. I order the chicken salad, then I don't put anything on it but the mild salsa, lettuce, and the chicken. A lot of people on here have moved tomatoes out of the veggie column and into the fruit column and had better losses, so this is "fairly" protocol . I just have to make sure I don't eat too much of it cause it will slow my loss the next day! Have a great day and keep letting us know how it goes!

    WOW Jake we have a lot in common. Blended family (we have 7) family loves to fish and camp I like to hike and hubby is cub master which of course involves me. Curious you are doing a long round do you mind telling me your strategy?

I do a modified HCG diet that is higher protein/lower carb than the standard 500 calorie diet to maintain stamina for running and weight lifting.

I'm still doing HCG, but this round has been more challenging than the last one. I started round 2 in mid July but then went on a 2 week vacation. Staying with family around the country made it just about impossible to stick with protocol, so I called it quits during the vacation. FOOD

Saturday: Lost about 3 pounds from yesterday. Waited so long into the day to eat that my blood sugar dropped and I felt grouchy and had brain fog. In my frustration I ate junk food to deal with the stress. I know I'll pay for it on the scale tomorrow.

Sunday: One pound gained. Made the same mistake today as I did yesterday... waited too long into the day to eat and had blood sugar problems. Lesson: eat earlier when I need it

FOOD

Breakfast nothing

Lunch 150 grams chicken with mustard, homemade salsa, fage

Dinner 150 grams chicken stir fried with broccoli and cauliflower, topped with salsa

Snacks 3 sugar free Jolly Ranchers

Fluids: 60 oz water, 40 oz Vitamin Water, 36 oz diet green tea, 12 oz sugar free Red Bull

Salsa Salsa Salsa

R2/P2 VLCD2 - 3 pound loss

Wifey and I picked tomatoes and peppers from our garden today..... added in some onions and spices and made 3 gallons of salsa. Yum.

To load my body for tomorrow's run (7 miles), I ate a bit heavier than normal... 750-800 calories - mostly protein, but also had a Greek salad. Drank about 80 ounces of water and 20 ounces of diet green tea.

I need to start increasing my running distance to prep for my half-marathon in November.

Vacation Break

I just got home from a two and half week vacation with my family. I tried to maintain P2 during the trip, but it just wasn't working. We went on a road trip to visit family in Pittsburg, Ohio, Indiana and even Miami, FL. Everyone wanted to feed us and after a few days I decided it was best to just enjoy the trip, accept what I was given to eat and start this round over when I got home. I have no complaints. I ate some great food and had a tons of fun.
