About jnspdl
I had been an athlete my entire life. Played soccer through high school and college and I love to run (yes… I actually do love to run). No matter how much I exercised, or how much I watched what I ate, the scale wouldn’t budge. In May of 2009 I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. I thought “Finally, an answer”. I was prescribed Synthroid and eventually my doctor had my levels normalized. I am so very thankful for this revolution for it may have kept me from gaining any more weight. However, it did not take the weight I had gained over the years off. As a 5’5” tall female, I was weighing in at 164lbs. As an athlete, this was very discouraging. From May of 2009 to April of 2011, I participated in four half-marathons, one full-length marathon, and worked out with a trainer two times a week. The scale didn’t budge.

Enter HCG…. I started my first round in April of 2011. I did a 23 day round and went from 164 to 146! I couldn’t believe it! 18 lbs in three weeks. The best part…. It stayed off!!! Praise Jesus! That summer I became pregnant with our first child and had a healthy pregnancy. When my daughter was born in 2012 I was weighing in at 148 one month after her delivery. Again… praise Jesus! Over the past year I have nursed our baby and didn’t really watch my carb intake. This was fine for the first six months of exclusive breastfeeding, but as she drank less I did put on five of the 18lbs I lost. (Still not complaining). So here I am in April of 2013, two years after my first round of HCG and still within 5 lbs of my LDW (also working out very MINIMALLY during this period). Once my daughter was weaned, I decided that I was going to do round 2. It worked so well the first time! So here I am, P2D12 and I am down 10 lbs at 144. I am planning on doing a 30 day round, depending on my number (a minimum of 23 days) and hopefully this is it for me. However, it is such a blessing to know that if I do gain some weight in the future due to whatever reason, that HCG is there for people like me who have tried every other way and have been unsuccessful.
