I am back from my vacation, but still trying to get acclimated back to the working life. I had a wonderful time seeing family and friends......someone got arrested for smoking on the plane, but that's another story....I ate everything: tamales, chicken alfredo with home-made sauce, enchiladas, bbq, oysters on the grill, gumbo etc AND a bunch of marguaritas mixed in....WOW. Now, back to reality: I gained about 6lbs in 8 days - I started my 40 day program

I haven't posted in a few days....been kind of busy packing and stuff for my vacationFlying out to CA to visit my son and other family for a few days. I am VERY excited about the trip - very much needed. I am doing extremely well on the VLCD - no hunger or fatigue. Started my 'Planned Interruption' today so no drops/VLCD for 3 days. I am very happy to report that I am 15lbs down!!!!!!!! I have been averaging at least a pound per day - except

I had a very good weekend - very restful, didn't do anything really...just finished organizing my closet and cleaned up. I did exercise. Tried to do TurboFire but that was WAY to strenuous. Ended up doing 15 on my eliptical, weights and situps. I think I will stick to strength training until phase 3. I am down another 1.6lbs this morning and feeling great about it!! Feeling great...it's finally Friday and only 7 days until vacation!! I am down 1.6lbs today and really excited about that. I also started taking B-12 5000mg - that stuff is fantastic!! I felt so much more energy and wasn't hungry at all today!! I got it online at www.vitaminshoppe.com. It was $10 online but $27 in the store....I don't know how that works but they are also available on Amazon.com. My 7th day will be on Sunday and I can't wait to see what my total

Day 4 on the VLCD and everything is going wonderful! Down 1.8lbs when i weighed this morning - YAY!! I am not having any problems - I do get a little hungry between breakfast and lunch, but I use the toast and fruit as snacks. Guess my body has to get used to virtually no food for breakfast.....not too bad though. I do plan on doing a little exercise starting next week...nothing too strenuous. I'm also going on vacation and will be doing a planned interruption.
