Hey thanks for the message, and sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, I have been working crazy hours for sxsw this last week. I do live in Austin and I absolutely love it. There's so much to do-live music pretty much any night of the week, places to go hiking, floating the river in the summer, natural swimming holes, parks, it's awesome. When were you planning to visit? If it's closer to the summer I'd definitely suggest floating the river or going out to the lake. When my mom was here I took her to Inner Space, a series of caves they found in north Austin when they were building the highway. The touristy things are still fun even though I live here
