    Congrats on your half way mark too! I'm at my lowest weight in probably 15 - 20 years. My goal is 152 which would be around high school weight back in way long time ago...1979. LOL Who knows...maybe then I'll want to go lower.

  9. Hi justjoan i was reading one of your posts and you were talking about "baking" an apple and the cinnamon "sugar" dip you were putting on it how do you bake it and how do you make the cinnamon sugar? if you dont mind me asking of course.
  10. there are clinics here and there who let people do longer rounds, so others have experimented with it. i think it really depends on the individual, how healthy they are, how many rounds they are going to need to do, etc. I myself have done a couple of longer rounds and have not had any immunity problems- in fact, even though my daily average was a bit lower (i was also eating more protein at times due to extreme weakness), i stabilized a little better on those rounds.

62 year old mother of four, grandma of 2, but soon to be 4! Live in Iowa and love to bicycle and my Golden Retriever puppy Cooper! I'm a Business Manager and still work full time. I gained weight after getting hit by a car on my bike in 2003 and tearing my knee up - eventually got a knee replacement in 2006 at Mayo and am doing great with it now. Could NOT lose any weight until hcg and I'm so grateful to have found it!

Well.............I'm back!

It's been quite a year! I filed for divorce on 12/28/11 and it's still not final, so.......enough said! Also, lost my relationship with who I thought was my best friend which has actually been harder emotionally. (comfort eating to the max!.). Also, I injured my left knee somehow so wasn't as active this summer until I got it scoped in July and hoped that would do the trick. It felt great for a couple of weeks, then has slowly come back. Day 2 of LR/P3

I'm down 1.4 after my first day of LR which is great! Wasn't sure if I would gain on it right away. I'm not going to worry about stabilizing - hopefully I'll lose more - because I plan to eat paleo/primal from here on out and think I'll get to my optimal, healthy weight that way. That's just my decision for my situation. I know I'm on an hcg blog, but also know people are starting to get curious about the leptin reset. 2 days post drops

I stopped taking hcg on Tuesday morning, so I'm two days after. Up about .4 this morning, but I had a few tortilla chips last night and 3 hard boiled eggs yesterday, chicken so who knows? I'm really tired of depriving my body right now and can't wait to start LR Sunday morning. Saturday I'm going to just add more food in - more meat, probably a mixed salad. I also bought some baking chocolate and the last couple of nights had 1/2 oz (1/2 square?), dipping it in sweetener and gnawing on it. Better

Stop a day early?

I wonder if stopping my 23 day round one day early would be the end of the world?? I dropped 1.2 yesterday, but am stalled again today. It's probably going to boil down to like 1 lb difference maybe. It's been really, really hard for me the last few days. I'm just craving some decent food so bad, maybe my body's crying out! Whew~

Down 1.2 this morning after another two day stall!! YAY! I'm almost done with P2, so want to eek out every pound I can! So far, I've lost 15 pounds in a 23 day round - not bad! I've been getting off weight I gained back comfort eating. No fault of hcg diet! Have a blessed day everybody!
