    Thanks for your response to my blog. It's okay to be sappy....I cry at TV all the time. I'm usually hiding my face and trying not to sniffle so DH won't laugh at me. I am learning that I have been judgmental about "smaller" people and their weight issues. They have the same body image problem as I do. I'm not sure what it takes for us to really see "us" as others do.

    Hey! Thanks for the response. I think my main concern with sharing with people is that I'm also known a bit for being a fitness freak. I've gotten into such good shape on my own, I have really considered becoming a nutritionist and personal trainer. I want to make sure I am representing myself in a Godly way, even in this process. I did get to share a bit of info with some leaders at YG on Weds....they said to keep them updated. I guess I always hesitate when it comes to using the term "HCG is a hormone".....but I have to find a way to share, in a knowledgeable and stable way.

    I've really been using this like I would a fast. Praying and being in the Word daily, sharing my struggles w/food, with God. Studying and growing in my widsom of the discipline of self-control. I really think that's what all of this is about for me.....God has a plan to use HCG for the good! lol

    Hi There! Was reading your blog, and saw that we are both Youth leaders....We also have a full time youth pastor who runs things, but my hubbie and I are both leaders, and enjoy the youth so much!

    It's good to hear that you've lost 5INCHES around your waist?? I'm usually good about measuring, but haven't yet....already notice my pants are baggie...but it would be nice to see inches also. You've reminded me to do that tomorrow before I lose even more.

    Tonight at youth group a couple of the other leaders were asking why i was eating celery and chicken instead of the Taco Salad we serve.....I found myself hesitating...how do you explain 'what you're doing" to other people?

    Good job on the 12lbs so far, keep it up.
  4. Thanks for the helpful hints! I did not give into the "cravings monster" lol. In fact I order a 2nd round of HCG (i'm doing SubQ) incase I have to do a R2. This is def the hardest thing I have ever done. I did not realize what a hold food had on me. I'm def learning alot! I will see this threw though and not give up. I have 17 days left on P2.... I got this=] Not to mention I have it easy... alot of U guys are doing 40+ days... Good Luck with you journey!

Hovering at the 30lb mark.

Well, I started the second round 10 days ago. And I've lost a little but it's creeping off this time. I'm down only five pounds. It's okay, I'm not too discouraged because I'm still going the right direction. I am a little annoyed with that rotten scale though because I'm less than one lb from the thirty lbs lost mark! It just keeps creeping!

I'm hoping that tomorrow is the day. It's a lot easier to stay motivated when I can see progress. Last round was HHCG and this round

Lessons from Round 1!

Made it through customs!

I'm so excited!! I can't wait for my HCG to arrive. This will be my second round. I've stayed the same weight for 7 weeks. I discovered I can eat whole grain pasta in small doses and wheat bread and milk! YAY!! I have also discovered that I cannot eat white bread under any circumstance (I know this is obvious! ). well, I have about two weeks left of Phase 4. My weight is exactly where it was on my last day of VLCD. (well, within a half pound depending on if I drink enough water). So, Of course I've been thinking about the next round. I've already purchased a most adorable outfit that I hope to be into within the first two weeks of the next round. I haven't been on and posted in awhile. I just wanted to take a minute, check on everyone, and say "Hi".

I finally gave up on the new drops. After three weeks on the new drops I had only lost three pounds and that was gain some lose some losses. Like starting over... but in a good way!

So, If you read my blogs you know that I had to change drops. It was a really rough week because of the change. I was gaining weight, felt a need to eat everything in sight (I haven't felt that way the entire time), and generally feeling lost. By Friday, I was back to feeling like I wasn't starving. By Saturday my weight had leveled back out to within one pound of my lowest so far. Yesterday I lost another pound. Today, I'm down 1.8 lbs!! It's the craziest thing ever!
