That's reassuring! Good for you It seems like P3 is the hardest for so many people and is worrying me already! I hope I have such great success as you have! Thanks again. Take care!

Hello I really enjoyed reading your blogs on your success! Congrads! Just wondering how P3 has been going for you so far? Did you body eventually adjust??
  3. Good for you! I agree, Ph2 was easier in some ways. I am the SAME way, bottomless pit. I always have been. Even when I was a skinny little girl I could out eat my father! I rarely get full, so I'm with you on the portion control being huge. My husband and I went out on the Sat before Vtines day and that was the night I had my first carbs (day 14) I had 1/2 dinner roll, 4 crackers, and when we got home a piece of cheesecake! OOPS. I didn't gain so I got careless for the next few days. Then (jerkface TOM) showed up on Wed so still unsure if he's to blame. I don't usually gain with TOM but since HCG everything could be different now! I did really good today, only meat ever 2-4 hours. I hope I'm down at least a little tomorrow. How's the working out going? I'm doing really well. I am hoping I can just get into shape and not care about the few lbs going up or down, ya know??

I've been stabalizing ok since realizing I needed to up my cals. I'm on Day 17 of p3 and have had a couple of carbs, like tonight I ate a taco shell with my taco salad, I've noticed that my stomach has started to become a bottomless pit again-portions have always been my issue, hand in hand with emotional eating. I've stayed within 1lb of LIW for the last week though. Im sure it was hard during Valentines day to resist junk to-I feel like it was so much easier during p2. High protein day sounds like a smart move. Ive heard from people fairly experienced with HCG that both steak days and apple days are fairly useless. and TOM is a **** lol

HEY! How are you? Missing you on the blogs...come back soon, hope all is well

I'm pretty sure I could have made my way to my LDW and maybe even below with my correction day experiment. I lose really well on them when I am very strict. But the problem is that I still have this emotional eating issue that crops up and ruins my progress in one binge...and then I have to start all over again. Not cool. I'm really hopeful that this clean round with Weight-Loss Apocalypse is exactly what I need. I'm also going to do it without weighing myself to break myself from my scale obsession, so that should be challenging. LOL. Good luck to you!

Thanks for checking in on me. Okay, I've done a 180 since posting about my experiment last week. Basically, I came across this amazing (really amazing) book called "Weight-Loss Apocalypse" by Robin Phipps Woodall, and it convinced me I needed to do another Round correctly and the way she suggests doing it in the book, which is basically eating only when hungry. It is hard to explain it all here, but I highly recommend you check out the book or at least her blog: http://weightlossapocalypse.blogspot.com/. She takes a look at the protocol from a modern science perspective and she discusses how essential it is to do the entire protocol a specific way in order to reap the benefits of hormonal balance and freedom from emotional eating (two biggies for me personally). So I start VLCD 1 tomorrow and I'm totally pumped and ready-to-go. ....continued on next post (ran out of space).

Congrats on your losses!! Thats really great. Most women average 20-25 in a 6 week round, so 15 in 26 days is great! Well, I'm doing fairly well. I'm on day 25 and I've lost 26 pounds. I gained .2 back last night for some reason and I've only had three stall days. I'm doing a 40 day round and I have no idea how I'm going to make it. I have horrific cravings constantly, I'm always thinking about food. Ugh.

1 year later

by ktsueh on January 10th, 2013 at 08:21 AM
Hi I decided a year ago when I tried hcg that I would come back a year later to check in. While I was researching hcg and on it (1 round) I had a hard time finding 1 year updates. Well here it is folks. I started at 163, did a round and ended at 148.8. I maintained that for quite awhile. Over the summer I went as high as 151 but went back down with exercising. So here it is.. One year after hcg I am 145. Nearly 4 lbs less. Hcg worked for me to get the weight off. The first 4 months after we're very

by ktsueh on March 30th, 2012 at 06:38 AM
Yesterday I added up my daily weights for the past 61 days since being done with the drops and then divided up to get my average... my average was my EXACT LDW!!! 148.8! Now, I'd love to be losing more BUT I'm definitely maintaining! Just thought I'd share!

I thought I'd blog and let you all know how I'm doing. I see so many people on here that just never come back and you wonder, did they keep the weight off? Did they gain it back and are too embarrassed to come back on and update people?

I have kept the weight off (so far)! I just finished up phase 4 earlier this week. My ldw was 148.8. My average weight during ph 3&4 was 149.4 I did 1 steak day (.8 loss wasn't good enough to repeat), 1 protein day (pretty decent loss but it

Wasn't expecting that!

by ktsueh on February 4th, 2012 at 07:30 AM
On day 7 of ph3 and I'm down a pound today! I've been eating 1500-1700 calories everyday. I re-introduced eggs yesterday for breakfast, I had just one. So today, I tried 2 I'm not quite sure why I lost a pound, but I'm not complaining! As of today I am 1.4 below ldw.

I made my own sausage patties yesterday! I couldn't find sugar free sausage or bacon, so I decided to make them. I used ground pork and put spices in (like cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, sage, parsley, thyme, and 1.5tsp

workout #1 since being on hcg & past weeks weights in ph3

by ktsueh on February 3rd, 2012 at 01:16 PM
HOLY MOLY am I weak! I had a pinched nerve for about 3 weeks prior to getting on hcg. Then I didn't workout during ph 2, so today is day 6 of ph3 and I did my first workout in months. My muscles are so weak. I can tell a huge difference in how I feel now compared to in the past when it had been awhile since I workout out. You would think that being 15lbs lighter would of worked in my favor, but ohhh no. I think all those weeks of basically starving I lost a lot of strength. I did a wii workout called
