QUESTION: does anyone out there using the Simeon protocol eat a fruit (or half a fruit) for breakfast and save the rest for an afternoon snack? My usual MO is 1/2 apple around 9:30; lunch (protein & veggie) around noonish; other 1/2 of apple around 2:30; dinner (protein & veggie) around 6:00; and then another apple for dessert around 7:00 - 7:30 (this is my had snacking time).

Okay, so this is my first post on my (make that any blog. I'm not sure how this works but for right now I'm going to treat it like an on-line journal which anyone can read.
I am currently in round 2 on day 10 and have lost 24 pounds altogether and 5.5 pounds on round two. In 2001 I had gastric bypass surgery and lost 140 pounds. It was very successful for me and I will never regret that choice but over the years I have gained 40 pounds back and I never got down to my goal weight.
