    Thanks for the post in the Jan Loaders....it helps to hear from experience. I have started noticing difference but i think once i hit 20 is when everyone else will see the difference..although i do have people telling me that i look skinny...i have a long oval face so it always shows up on my face first but still waiting to drop the pant size....

    Thanks, Kate. I'd love to hear about your yogurt experience! That's awesome. Thanks for sharing. too. I've enjoyed our group a lot and hope to have similar support when I do my last round in April.

    Could I ask you to pray for a concern? Well, I know I can. My husband's sister is dying of cancer in AZ. She has been sick a long time and her hours are numbered. Her name is also Linda. Fred went to visit her in Oct. and talked to her about her relationship with God. I'm hoping she has accepted Christ, but we can't know for sure. I'm praying for their mom, who has to watch her child die, and no one should have to go through that. It's all heavy on my heart. Thanks very much and good luck with the P4! Happy Thanksgiving, too!

Okay, so obviously the ticker thing didn't work. I'll have to figure that out.

QUESTION: does anyone out there using the Simeon protocol eat a fruit (or half a fruit) for breakfast and save the rest for an afternoon snack? My usual MO is 1/2 apple around 9:30; lunch (protein & veggie) around noonish; other 1/2 of apple around 2:30; dinner (protein & veggie) around 6:00; and then another apple for dessert around 7:00 - 7:30 (this is my had snacking time).

Okay, so this is my first post on my (make that any blog. I'm not sure how this works but for right now I'm going to treat it like an on-line journal which anyone can read.

I am currently in round 2 on day 10 and have lost 24 pounds altogether and 5.5 pounds on round two. In 2001 I had gastric bypass surgery and lost 140 pounds. It was very successful for me and I will never regret that choice but over the years I have gained 40 pounds back and I never got down to my goal weight.
