I have the genetics of my Dad's sisters, consequently, once I got married I have had to be super conscious of my weight. Odd for me, because I was a 'toothpick' all my life before that! Seriously; when I married my first husband in 1973, I was 110 lbs. at 5'6", and wore a size 10 wedding gown! Today, that would be a size 0.
Over the years, my weight would sneak up, and I went up to 152 lbs.at 29 years old; then lost it and got back to 110. Then 23 years later, I had some weight to lose, but I was older, so I lost the weight through Weight Watchers, stopping at 118 lbs. In 1994, I went through a separation and divorce, and ACCIDENTALLY lost 8 more lbs. I looked TERRIBLE!!! I eventually got settled in at 120 lbs. for several years, but then I moved from Canada to the U.S., remarried my soulmate, and since we went to dinner a LOT in our courtship and after we got married, I skyrocketed up to 172 lbs!!!
I learned about HCG, went on it in 2009, and got my weight to a reasonable level: 125 lbs, and a size 4. By then, I was 55 years old, so 110-118 would have made me look gaunt! I maintained that weight until I had one thing after another hit me; first, kidney stones, then herniated discs, then a car wreck resulting in fractures, then H1N1 that turned into Pneumonia, landing me in the ICU for a week, that diminished my appetite (thus causing muscle deterioration and almost halting my metabolism).
When I finally got my appetite back, I had little to none in the metabolism department, and in very short order, I was up to the obscene weight of 198 lbs!!!
I am now 64 years old, 5'4" tall (yes; I've shrunk 2") and have a fine bone structure...I wear a size 4.5 wedding ring, and have a 5.5" wrist---normally!
On July 30, 2018, just 28 days ago, I began the detox for Phase 2 and began to take the HCG shots three days later, on the 40-day schedule, through MD Diet here in Orem, UT. The onsight Doctor prescribes the appetite suppressant Pfentermine, as well as Diethylpropion (for as needed before dinner time...won't keep you awake like Pfentermine does). So in 28 days, I have, thus far, lost 19.4 lbs. I still have 18 more days of the 500 calories, so I'm excited to see where I end up with this round of Phase 2, when I finish that round on September 14th!
Phase 3 runs from September 15th through October 6th, and Phase 4 runs from October 7th through October 28th. I won't begin my next round of Phase 2 until November 2nd.
I have a total of 73.2 lbs. to lose to reach my comfort level of 125 lbs. and give my bad knees, Plantar Faciiatis and chronic heartburn the old heave ho!!!
