I'm a 27 year old mother of two boys (2, 7) who has struggled for years with emotional eating. Stumbling upon the hcg diet through a loved blog I follow has led me to research. I've started the Weight-Loss Apocalypse method on hcg and am consecutively healing my emotional eating mind while losing weight with a beautiful weight gym in my garage awaiting me.

R2, P2 Week 2 Check-In

Well, I did it. I started a short round of hCG right smack in the middle of a school semester. It's been largely uneventful. I was slightly hopeful I could beat the average for a 23 day round and net around 20 pounds down. So far, I'm slated to get closer to 15 pounds (including loading weight). I'm happy to lower my base line, even if it's not likely to be quite as low as I wanted. Logical me recognizes that I'm removing abnormal fats and resetting my base line. P4 Week One Check-in

There really isn't much to report. I've introduced some starches with little weight fluctuation. I've introduced some things with sugars as well with little weight fluctuation. I got a Toblerone in my stocking for Christmas (while still on P2) and have held onto that sucker waiting and waiting. Finally, it was mine this week.

I've been sticking to trying to eat to hunger and not outside of that. I still sometimes eat a little past the point of not being hungry, but I never start

P3 Week 3 Check-in

I had a giant list of things I wanted to discuss about my journey so far. And after a long day of work, which turned into even more work, I totally lost most of it. One would think that I would learn to write things down. Gah. Someday. I'll get there someday.

P3 Week 3 Check-in Delay

I've been so faithful with checking in on Saturdays. Today just got me. I did a weigh-in this morning and had gains but still within an acceptable limit. I didn't do my measurements. I've added some things to my daily routine to account for. And I have a big post to write. I also had TOM start today which further skews tracking my measurements and gains the tiniest amount.

P3 Week 2 Measurements, Food Log, and Notes

Week Two of P3 checking in! It has been so simple honestly. I stressed so badly about starting P3, but it has been my favorite phase by far. I could see letting P3 become my P4 quite easily.

I did really crave something sweet a few nights ago and had a totally failed foodie experiment. I whipped some heavy whipping cream up, added some clear and chocolate stevia, added some black and blue berries. It wasn't thick and creamy like ice cream after being blended together. Maybe more
