- I am 62 years old, have a wonderful husband, four kids and 5 grandchildren (so far!). I retired in 2008 and don't know how I ever found time to work! I would like to lose at least 70 lbs. I was always thin even after having three children (one of my daughters was my husband's only child when we married nearly 21 years ago) . I had a partial hysterectomy at 40 and started struggling with my weight. I can remember feeling like a total failure when I hit 150 lbs. Now I'd be soooo happy to weigh 150 again LOL! I really started gaining weight badly in my 50's. I would diet and lose 20 - 30 lbs and then regain it and more. I can lose weight on low-carb diets (paleo) but always stall out in the 180's.....then get discouraged and start gaining again. I am hoping this diet will let me break through that plateau and get at least back to 150 (but 135 would be better!). I am taking Releana drops and go to a local physician weekly for a weigh-in and MIC-B shots. I am not hungry and have a hard time remembering to eat! I hope this keeps up!
