So it's been SEVEN YEARS since I did the hcg diet - almost exactly to the day. I thought I'd post to encourage others that the hcg journey does not end at the end of P4. It is a lifestyle change to eat healthy, to be mindful of what you eat, and how much you eat. I learned a lot about food, metabolism, and making healthy choices the first time around in 2011.
You're probably asking, "So did you keep the weight off?" The answer is yes, for the most part. I have never "dieted"
Thanks to MeOnHCG, Lawgal, and Tate for your comments yesterday. I find encouragement everytime I'm on (in?) this forum. Although I must admit that Me's comment that the FFF day did not work for her had me quaking in my boots a bit and scared to weigh this morning.
Yesterday I did the FFF day, with strawberries. I managed to CHOKE down 27 ounces out of the 32. I just could not bring myself to eat any more. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Fage yogurt (see yesterday's post), but
Wow, I just realized it's been a month since my last blog entry. There has been so much going on at work, and home, and stuff in the evenings and weekends (not normally this busy) that it's slipped my mind. I've been reading blog posts, and comments, but just not taken the time to check in myself.
Sad to report that I think I need a correction day. I've been out of P4 for over a month, and while my weight has flucuated some, I'm finding that the losses after the gains aren't keeping
Weird, but I don't have much to share...I'm usually quite prolific (like I need to mention it at all).
Since beginning P4, I've dabbled in adding starches and have definitely added sugar - just not a lot each day. Every day I've indulged in two or three chocolate Easer eggs (those are gone now), a few jelly beans, and even Milky Way single bites (two). I've tried sweet potato, whole wheat bread, skim milk, pears, honey in greek yogurt (last night), and other starches or foods with
I finally got brave over the weekend and tried Smuckers natural peanut butter. I've eaten NPB in the past, but this was especially wonderful, having had a PB fast for over two months! It was delightful with my apple slices. And - BONUS - no weight gain!! So I have enjoyed a little each day.
I went up .4 a few days ago, so am right at LDW. Went up due to lack of, um, bathroom activity, and it's still hanging on. That's okay though -- still working through the potty issue too,
