You look so young! My mom was 36 when she actually was diagnosed, but it took them a long time to figure out what was going on with her.

I just read your blog and saw that you have multiple sclerosis. It interested me because you look so young. My mom was diagnosed with the same thing when I was about 13, so about 15 years ago. I have been having a lot of medical issues going on too but nothing like what you have to go through. I wish you the best!

Loading day one.

by maxthecat on January 19th, 2013 at 10:20 PM
I messed up already. I took too much hcg in my injection this morning. It's okay though. Tomorrow I will inject 28 units (not 40). I will have to use both vials I ordered this month. It will come to 34 or 35 days (or when the injections stop working- whichever comes first).

It looks like I will have to stop taking my medications. I hope I will be alright...

Last May was a bust for me. I was starving the whole time.

I had great intentions last May, but it just didn't work our for me. I started as planned, but then we had a friend move in with us for several months. She was attacked by her husband, and the police were involved- it was awful! Besides this, I was starving the whole time.

It turns out that if you're very "toxic" the usual dosage may not be enough for you... I have been on diet foods, MS medications, etc for so long, that I am certain I am very toxic. I will be starting

I'm starting another round Friday, May 11.

by maxthecat on May 9th, 2012 at 09:39 PM
This is my second round. I'm pretty anxious to get started. I'd have started today, but I need a ride to the grocery store (I'm disabled.) I'll get that errand done on Thursday, and start loading on Friday. I plan to skip one day a week, and go for 40 days this time. I still have the appetite suppressant to use on the days I skip the shot. I've put a call out on the forum, to see if anyone wants to join me.

Hoodia for in between rounds of hcg
Okay, so I am in between rounds of hcg, and I am still looking forward to beginning the next round- but I found the next best thing! In between I have been using a product called "unique Hoodia". I was a bit apprehensive, because I bought a hoodia supplement at a vitamin store here in the town where I live- and it really didn't work for me. I was so disappointed- because not only it didn't work, but it was pretty expensive.

Today I took my last injection for this round.

I still have two more days on the VLCD, then I'm off to the Stabilization phase. I didn't lose 40lbs, like I wanted to, but for someone with mobility problems- 19lbs is pretty good. (It was 20, but I cheated.) It's very easy to become obsessed. I'm trying to be balanced. I do really well day to day, and the occasional slip up isn't going to cost me all my progress. I still have a long way to go, go, so in the long run- it won't matter very much.

All in all, I have
