  1. I haven't gotten any other reports about this issue so I'm guessing it is strictly limited to just you.

Which browser do you use? Did you recently install any ad-blocking software on your computer or similar type software?
  2. I can see the tickers just fine, are you still having issues seeing them?

Hi mlove...I'm still here. I blogged last week that I was going to check in weekly instead of daily ( got my hands full with a toddler running around). But I will be blogging today with my progress. I'm doing well so far with the weight loss, but just waiting to see those inches move a little more...lol. I've read on here that it could be p3 before you see a big drop in your inches. I've lost 16lbs. so far and my inches lost are 6.5 all together. How has your journey been? I hope your having geat results!

Going slow - but feeling good

by mlove on August 5th, 2011 at 05:45 PM
I have eaten out several times on this diet, I had an awesome catered lunch yesterday and I have managed to stay on protocol everytime. Planning ahead is really the key. On my days out I have always had an apple, crackers, and legal salad dressing in my purse. Just ask for a salad (without cheese and croutons) and for protein, I've enjoyed grilled chicken breast, peppered sirloin steak, and grilled flounder. The catered lunch was the biggie though! I stood back while others got in line to get

Eating out - more protein

by mlove on July 30th, 2011 at 10:06 AM
On Wed. my kids and I went swimming at my dad's and I had planned to make jambalaya for supper. I had a few fresh tomatoes, but like someone else on here (sorry I can't remember who at this moment), I went ahead and used canned tomatoes since I was making a small pan for me with measured protein and then larger pan for them (with added corn and they put theirs over rice). It was just easier that way. Little did I know when I drained the can and couldn't resist taking a drink of the tomato juice

Every time I have run across a great tip or recipe on this forum, I have copied and pasted it into a word document. I spent this evening giving everything a title, taking out unnecessary words, and writing each recipe down with its corresponding page number. I am so thrilled that I have so many choices! Thanks to all who have posted recipes!! I have read several times on this forum that people are getting bored with the same ol' foods and even though most recipes do still use that small list

No hunger at all!! VLCD5

by mlove on July 24th, 2011 at 07:44 PM
I had a great day! I lowered my drops to ten to see if that helped with hunger and I wasn't hungry, but I have read on here that for most people if they started out hungry, it got better by about the fifth day or so. So.... who knows!

I do know that I am eating sooooo much better than I have in the last 4+ months! My son plays baseball and even if you do manage to eat healthy, I am still eating out all the time so this past week of home eating has been great! (Baseball ended the

VLCD4 - Feel pretty good!

by mlove on July 23rd, 2011 at 09:39 AM
I woke up at four this morning and had to jump on the scales! Of course, I don't count that weight, but I had to check anyway! lol!! This diet makes it very easy to get out of bed right now!

I was down 1.6 this morning for a total loss of 4.7 lbs. in two actual days of dieting since my first VLCD just caught me up to my preload weight. After reading several of the posts on here, I'm wondering if I loaded well enough... but too late to do anything about that now. Unfortunately,
